War.

Iris POV.

"Iris, sit down," Papa order me, as I whined, I don't want to be here, he got me in my playpen in his throne room, at least I get to stay near him, even if I'm forced to sit in the stupid playpen. I obeyed him and sat down, I'm only staying here since I want to be with him, but I'm really clingy right now, and he needs to work, so he's keeping me close but not too close. I got a ton of toys waiting for me in the playpen, but I wasn't interested in anything inside my playpen, it's like a small cage for me, but I want and need to be out there and poke all of the demons.

"My lord, things aren't going well," the guy says talking to papa as I sat down, now I'm laying down with anger, declaring that I'm unhappy with what happened and my new situation.

"What happened?" he asks them sounding angry, they make him angry and he puts me in a stupid cage.

"The wolves pack, the royal pack, they're going insane and demanding blood and are threatening the hell creatures," the guy says, wow that bad?

"Why would they do that?" papa ask him.

"The wolves are claiming war because their last witch has betrayed them," the guy says, and I turn on my tummy listening to them talking, what are they talking about?

"And the traitor witch?" he asks him, papa is the king of hell, and everyone in hell belongs to him, that includes me, the demons, the witches and some other creature that I'm not so sure who they are and what their names are.

"Died, the wolves killed her and declared their mutiny," the guy says making papa groan, he looked really mad now, things are going bad now.

"We can't have the wolves calling mutiny on us, nor can we fight them," papa says, but he's the king, he could tell them to knock it off, to do as he says, but instead he was mad at them.

"We could kill them all," one of the demons says, answering him, but killing them is bad, but they are making papa mad.

"Kill them and risk the anger of the rest of their species?" he says, I'm learning a bit about the creature of hell, but I didn't learn much about them yet.

"If we kill them we'll end the mutiny, next the vampires would do the same or some other clan," the same guy says sounding angry now.

"Don't be stupid now, if I kill them, I'll never get the wolf's loyalties back," papa answers him in a cold voice with a growl, I'm learning how to growl just like him.

"Then what do you suggest? us entertaining their war?" one of the demons asks.

"No, they were betrayed, the wolves are very loyal, and they are possessive, we need to give them something or someone to trust, we need to get their trust back, we need to make a new treaty," papa says, making the other demons whine and groan, I swear they are kids.

"Who do you suggest to go? They'll kill us on sight," a demon says, I didn't learn their names actually although some are my main victims or caretaker after papa but I don't remember their names.

"Call Damon and Calesti, they'll deal with them," he says, I love Calesti, she's my friend, Cici and I play together all the time when she visits over!

"But the treaty? Who would you give them?" the same demon asks now sounding worried which got me worried as well who would give them?

"I don't know yet, let's talk to them, get them in line with me first," Lucifer says finally picking me out of my cage, he holds me up on his hip.

I laid my head against his chest like I usually do, he went back to his seat and waited for one of the bad demons to get him in line with the wolves, we actually have internet down here, it's all modified in here with magic, that's what I'm told, but I don't understand this earth they keep mentioning, why go to earth when you can stay here in hell with papa.

"Alpha," papa says through the screen still holding me.

"Lucifer, you're no longer our lord, sending betrayal witches! We bonded with her only for her to rip our hearts out," the alpha answered, I decided to keep my face hidden away from all the action.

"I'm sure we could come to an agreement, the witch wasn't working under my orders and you did do what had to be done," papa assures him.

"What do you want Lucifer, we'll never allow a witch back into our lands," the guy growls back, he sounds so hurt, so in pain, I felt sorry for him, he felt so raw, I lifted my head up to be met with green eyes and blond hair, the opposite of my dark hair and black eyes.

"I'll offer you another one of my other subjects," Lucifer says, he still doesn't know whom he's sending.

"Unless if you send us your heart lucifer this war is gonna come," the guy says before ending the call, he sounded so hurt the poor thing.

"He needs a hug," I say looking at the black screen now.

"He does my baby, he does, his heart was broken," daddy says with a sigh petting my head and my ears.
