Heart.

Mathew POV.

She broke our hearts, I never thought anyone could survive without a heart anymore, but here I'm without a heart anymore. When a wolf pack get given a witch we all connect with her, she becomes a part of our life, she'll be part of us, and we share the connection with her. But then she betrayed us, being betrayed is so hard, we felt it through our connection first, we felt our hearts get broken, all of us, it's not just me.

We're a pack, it's not just me, we're a big pack, well a very large pack, we're the royal pack, we're the one in charge of the whole werewolf kinds, but only the small pack, the small family is the one who connected to the witch, and we're the one who got hurt the worse, but every wolf in the world, even the ones that aren't part of my inner circle and my pack, they all felt our pain, they shared it.

It's why we've been going crazy, it's why we declared war on hell, but Lucifer didn't want our war, he's trying to talk to us, to get us to pull back from our war plans, but I doubt he got anything that would have us interested.

"Demon, leave," I tell the demon lord standing in front of me, along with his witch, I wanted to kill the witch, she's one of the people who hurt us, she's one of them.

"I can't leave, Lucifer sent me over to talk to you," the demon lord says, he's one of the stronger lords, but we could kill him just as well, we could do it, but the wrath of Lucifer, that had me pulling back until he leaves.

"What does he want?" I ask the stupid demon.

"He's asking what you want in return of well...not burning the world down, keeping the peace, and swearing your loyalty to him again," the demon says.

Swear loyalty to Lucifer do as he ask when he asks you to do, and that was his price for his protection, for him to send us witches to keep the humans away, but then the witch who he sent, that one betrays us, what else does he expect from us? To agree right away? We won't be doing that, not anytime soon, we need something back in return, and he got to give us something deep and close to his heart.

"We want his heart," I say with a laugh, not my natural laugh, it's my crazy laugh, I might be going crazy soon, and it's showing on me.

"We can't get you his heart," the demon says, but why not? He gave us a fake witch and now we're all with broken hearts, he should pay us back.

"He sent us a witch who broke ours, get us his heart, or leave," I growl close to shifting and attacking them, no second thoughts, I'll just kill them off. I heard my packmates through our bond, some wanted me to actually kill them, and my beta, Zane, he didn't agree at all, he kept yelling to me to just stop it.

"Alpha," the demon says, trying to take a step closer to me, but my growl got louder, the witch near him, took a step close as well, trying to save him from me.

"Don't hurt my daddy," she yells at me, as I pushed the jerk of the demon, who does he think he is, coming in and trying to get us to pull back from our war?

"Your daddy?" I ask the little witch, she is a little then, I had my doubt seeing her standing next to him, the way she's trying to save him, the way her powers were humming in the air.

"Tell me demon," I say looking at the witch and the way he's trying to hide her behind him while she wants to step forward and save him.

"What do you want wolf?" the demon answers me, as I kept on smiling, my crazy smile.

"Who's your heart? I'd say it's the little witch isn't she?" I say, seeing how they are acting.

"She is, dare touch her and I'll show what being heartless really means," he threaten me, I laughed when I heard the threat, I did expect that I'd threaten people too if they threaten my heart.

"The rumour says Lucifer got a small heart now, one that walks on two legs and got an ear and a tail," I say knowing about Lucifer falling in love with one of his own creatures.

"You can't ask for that, if you hurt her, Lucifer would burn you," the demon says, but we wouldn't hurt an innocent creature, we just want to break his heart, just like ours is.

"We won't hurt her, but we want her in return," I say with a big smile, let me see what Lucifer is going to do now.
