I threw a glass on the wall and I could hear Adam’s muffled snicker. It was not as if he was trying to hide a laugh but he was mocking me. My attempt to look intimidating looked wasted on him. It was pissing me off.

“Are you done with your little tantrum?” he asked, raising an eyebrow at me, “because I think it’s a little early to be acting this childish. I mean it’s not even noon and you already look drunk. Are you trying to run my company to the ground? Failure is just written all over your face right now,” he laughed.
