AMBER'S POV

After Raze has his meal, I excused myself to drop the used plates in the kitchen. When I got to the kitchen, I met the maids working and gave them a smile of apology for bringing the plates late.

I walked into the living room and signaled one of the guards positioned there.

" Get the Chief Guard. I want to speak with him urgently. No mindlinks." I said to the guard and he nodded in understanding before walking out to the packhouse.

I didn't want to use the mindlink to contact Bryan because Raze would know that I wanted to speak with him and I didn't want that.

As the Luna, I had the power to block mindlinks, generally or for specific people and that's exactly what I did. I blocked the guard from mindlinking Bryan and blocked Bryan from mindlinking me and the Alpha.

A maid dropped a glass of orange juice on the table before skipping away.
