LOGINCrane's pov:
Entering the car , telling Yousef to drive I picked my phone up and dialed Dr Jane's number Not taking up to five seconds, it got connected " Hello Jane, I'll be arriving at the hospital in thirty minutes, I have something VERY VERY important to discuss with you" I went straight to the point without even letting her speak first "I'm around sir, I'll be waiting " Hearing her reply I said " I'll see you alone in your office Jane " I told her which I'm sure she got the clue already Ending the call I moved my head backwards and breathed heavily This decision was a tough one, but as always I will pave my way to succes Arriving at the hospital exactly two minutes to the time i gave her Passing the reception, I could hear those big mouthed ladies talk " oh gosh that's Alpha Crane , the wealthiest and ruthless " " yeah so I heard , oh gosh what is he doing in our hospital "? " how am I supposed to know"? " keep your voices down, I heard he has Superhearings gift , and can be angered easily, watch your mouth" Smiling at the Ruthless part of their statement Yeah I was anything from nice and merciful I crush my enemies without thinking twice and i don't let my emotions cloud my judgements. More reason I don't need a damn weak mate Coming towards the individual offices for doctors I saw one with the bold Jane written on it Turning to look at Yousef , I nodded and he walked away to another side of the building Knowing she was expecting me I just pushed the door open Only to see someone struggling to put her pants on Oh I wasn't expecting that Raising her head and looking at me , I felt something move in me Do I know this lady? " stupid hospital wear" I could hear the frustration in her voice I scoffed ' humans..... they lack patience "oh miss Jane I'll be done soon, just need to get this dress off me" she spoke again Just how clueless can these humans be? I stepped a little bit closer , not knowing how my feet just moved on it's own " ahh pervert" oh no, she got the wrong idea Trying to hit me with her small purse ,which didn't turn out well, I found this petite woman in my hands That was fast! I held my breath..... Her scent filled my nose immediately and It was doing something usual to my wolf John ( my wolf ) began thrashing inside "YOU WILL KEEP YOURSELF IN CHECK IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE LOCKED OUT FOR A WEEK"! I warned and he finally calmed down , he hated when I do that to him. Finally calming him down I could focus on the beauty in my hands Looking at the beautiful face in my hands , I felt like having her there , something in me wanted to make her mine " I see you're comfortable in my arms "... i teased her seeing her turn red It made me Chuckle a bit " you should mind what you Say, and besides this is a ladies room" she finally found her voice as she pointed at the sign on the door Looking at it too I frowned, I didn't see this when I stepped in ( HOW WILL NOTICE WHEN YOU GOT YOUR EYES ON A HOT LADY) I heard John mumble inside Not ready to let a petite Cookie make me speechless I spoke with my low but strong voice " I can be whereever I want to be at anytime, Where's Jane "? Seeing she didn't even answer me , I moved my eyes towards hers only to notice the look of disgust she gave (OKAYY THIS.... DOES SHE HOLD A GRUDGE?) not knowing an answer to that I then heard her mutter ' I can't breathe the same air with them' whoa! that was too much for a mere human to just say I balled a fist turned towards the table and watched as the picked her pant and bag with difficulty and rushed out of the room. Becoming impatient , I picked my phone to dial Jane's number , but on the third ring she came inside Putting her hands together in a manner which I think to the humans is pleading huh " I'm sorry, hope I didn't keep you too long sir"? She asked as she held her breath Not wanting to waste much more time than that I waved my hand and sat on the chair immediately " oh yes , I..." she said as she got the clue sat opposite me and waited for me to speak " ok the thing her is..... I need a list of legible female werewolves in the city... every information about them , don't need anyone bringing trouble to my peaceful life .. I'll be donating my sperm for one of them to carry , bear my pup and will be paid handsomely " " As for the person's bills , I'll handle that, since she'll be carrying my pup I'll make life easy for her" Seeing her stare at me with shock , I tilted my head to the side and she snapped out of her thoughts and adjusted her glasses then.. " oh well , Alpha Crane,.... I'll have that done as soon as possible and email it to you.... but I personally think a contract should be drafted as well ..." Smart woman ... I smiled " oh yeah I got that handled already, just come up with the names and I'll handle it from there ". I said as I crossed my legs and rested my back comfortably Seeing she wanted me out of there as possible, she picked up her phone and dailed a number "yes Jace, please I need a little favour from you, ah okay I'll text you then alright then " Rasing her head she spoke " I've contacted my friend, the names will be ready latest in three da....." "No Jane, I cannot wait until three days , it's too long" I cut her off without hesitation " I'll pay double , let him give me the list latest tomorrow morning " I said as I picked my phone up to check my notification a message from Yousef " tomorrow morning it is then Alpha " Jane said as she smiled at me " if that's all.. I'll be on my way now " I said and stood up to leave " okay Alpha , it was nice having you around.. till next time" she said as she Walked me out to the reception then turned back Getting Into the car I said " give me the breakdown of what you said earlier and you "... I Said as I turned to the driver " drive".Back at Corey's mansion, the air was heavy. The chandeliers hung like silent witnesses, their crystals catching the late-afternoon light and fracturing it into thin, nervous shards. Corey sat up on his king-sized bed, shoulders rigid. Derrick stood like a shadow by his side, and Greyhem lounged on the couch opposite him, one leg thrown over the arm as if the room were still someone else’s show. Doc sat quietly, watching the way the men moved — cataloguing fear, loyalty, and the slow burn of plans being born. After a few minutes, Greyhem’s phone popped up with a ding sound. Everyone adjusted immediately and turned toward him. Unlocking the phone, his eyes ran round the screen for a few seconds and then they lit up.“Booyah… there we go,” he said, smiling.“What did you get?” Corey asked impatiently.“Hand the phone over already, Greyhem.” Corey’s voice rang out again.“Woah, woah hot-blooded human, take a chill pill,” Greyhem mocked Corey, and then turned to Derrick. “You, bring the la
“Go change into clean clothes and come downstairs for lunch, Maya,” James said. Maya pouted. “Okayyy, big brother.” She blew a kiss toward Janis’s tummy. “I’ll be right back in a jiffy, baby!” she said and ran upstairs, her footsteps thudding before her door slammed shut. James chuckled, shaking his head. “Her Maya,” he muttered, waving at the guard who’d been standing by since Maya arrived. The guard bowed and went outside, driving both cars into the garage beside the house. Janis finally sat down, eyes still exploring the glass walls. “Won’t people see us from outside?” she asked, her tone soft and innocent. “Of course not,” James said, smiling. “But we can see them from here. Top security measures.” “Oh.” Moments later, Maya came running back in, now in a clean white dress and shiny shoes. The three of them had a heartfelt lunch — James’s cooking filling the air wit
The drive was silent.Janis kept stealing glances at James behind the wheel of a sleek black Aston Martin DBX707, its scent of new leather mixing with the soft hum of power beneath her. James, aware of her gaze, only tightened his grip on the steering and reached across to lace his free hand over her smaller one.She stayed quiet until she noticed him take a right turn instead of the left — the turn that should’ve led back to the old apartment. Her brows furrowed. “Aren’t we going home? Why the right turn?”James smiled, eyes still on the road. “Of course, Jan-Jan… we’re going home. A new home.”The words hit her like a whisper from a dream. She blinked, staring out the window as they drove off the bustling streets into a quiet, opulent estate. The guards at the towering gate bowed the moment they saw the car, waving them through without question. Her heart thumped faster. This was the Peaches Estate. The same estate that only the richest of the rich could step foot in — celebrities,
The heavy doors of the dark mansion swung open. James walked in, his polished shoes clicking sharply against the marble floor — click, click, click — echoing through the silent hall like a countdown. His suit jacket hung open, unbuttoned down to the fourth button, revealing a white shirt loosened at the collar. His usually calm face was tight with worry. He didn’t spare a glance at the guards bowing as he passed, his steps unbroken, purposeful.Reaching the study, he pushed the door open without knocking. Vince sat behind his desk, speaking quietly with Bruno.James dropped the briefcase he’d been carrying onto the table with a thud.“Where is she?”Vince paused, eyes slowly lifting from Bruno to James, a slow smile curving his lips.“Well… welcome back to the country, CEO. And good afternoon to you, too,” he said, voice dripping with mock politeness.James exhaled sharply, running a hand through his slicked-back hair.“Yeah, my bad. Hi, boss.” He turned slightly toward Bruno, giving
Vince watched them carry Janis up the stairs, shoulders still taut with a dangerous impatience. He turned at last to the tall figure beside him, voice sharp. “I didn’t touch her thanks to you—now what are you standing there for?” The huge man exhaled slowly, not looking away from the stairs. “It isn’t Janis you have a thing against,” he said, voice even. “And per the deal—you return her to James in one piece.” Vince snorted, rolling his eyes. “Yeah, right. James.” The name tasted like sarcasm and old grudges. “I’ll make sure she’s safe,” the big man said, then turned and walked off without looking back. Some time later, after things had settled, the huge man pushed Janis’s door open. The room was small and dim; Janis lay curled on the side of the bed, the offered clothes discarded on the floor as if she’d flung them away in disgust. A tray of untouched food sat by the bedside. He stepped in and sighed quietly. His voice was low and careful when he spoke. “You should eat
The mansion gates burst open as the guards drove in, tires screeching against the stone. Derrick was already outside before the engine stopped. “Boss!” he shouted, rushing to the back seat. Corey was half-conscious, blood dripping down the side of his face, shirt torn from the crash. Without hesitation, Derrick crouched and lifted him onto his back despite the weight, his muscles straining but his grip firm. “Call the family doctor—now!” Derrick’s voice thundered across the yard as he carried Corey inside, each stride echoing panic through the halls. In his room, Derrick laid him on the bed, already barking orders. “Get the first aid box—now! We need to stop the bleeding before Doc gets here!” A guard sprinted away while another ran to bring clean clothes. Derrick tore away Corey’s bloodied shirt and began cleaning the wounds with disinfectant. His hands trembled; his eyes were red and wide with fear. He muttered under his breath, “Dammit… I should’ve gone with him…” Moments l
