Reaching the gate, we met a truck driving in.

Kiara being curious, as she has been since a kid, I heard her asking her wolf to stop running and see who was inside the truck.

“You can't be serious, princess. Do you want Benna to catch up with you again?“ I asked while alert at the back of my wolf's head.

“I am only curious. Can we move on?“ She asked, and when I hummed in response, she said to her wolf, 'Keep running, Raika. Remember, it's now your turn to save me.“

Raika howled loudly, attracting the attention of the men in the truck who were waiting for the guard to open the gate for them.

My wolf and hers didn't miss the men's curious eyes on them as they gasped and pointed at us. They were obviosly shocked that they were seeing pure gray wolves, the kinds who have never been seen.

“Why is your wolf exactly like mine, though?" Kiara asked when our wolves slowed down. We were out of Alpha Benna's territory, and there was no way they would catch up with us.
