Birthday

Noah ended up sleeping, after a few minutes of her singing, she kissed his head and carried him, to her and Lennon  bedroom, since she didn't know any other rooms and didn't want to bother him by her moving around, as she already bothered him by carrying him.

As she walked down the stairs, she saw Lennon struggling at the door, with a million of bags in his hands, so she quickly went to help and criticize his technique of carrying things. "Why not carry them one by one?"

"Because there are a lot and I am tired, you try getting screamed at by five old men and angry middle aged woman, then chased around by girls for forty minutes." Lennon said, gaining Maya's sympathy, he must have had it bad.

"Go rest, I will arrange the things and get the the rest from the car." Maya said, taking some bags off of his hands.

"You are an angel." Lennon said, being moved by Maya's kindness.

"I know." Maya responded, winking at his and taking some of the bags to the kitchen counter.

Lennon got the rest of the things out of the car, with Maya, since indeed they were a lot and he doesn't want her to suffer but after he went and laid on the couch, like a lazy cat, while Maya put everything in its supposed place, as she liked it, because everything was empty, giving her the choice on putting anything wherever she wants to, making her extremely excited about the whole thing.

"Oh right, I bought you a mea....." Maya stopped before finishing her sentence, hearing a snore and noticing Lennon's quietness, when she went to check, she found him deep into slumber, she smiled and went to look for a thin blanket, to cover his body, then went back to the kitchen.

While cleaning the kitchen, Maya started thinking about her schedule from now on, as a wife and a mother, she usually just work, eat, reads and sleeps but that will change in this life, she has to a responsible mother and maybe this time, she won't be forced to have a job, she despises, the husband already has so much money, the wife didn't even have a job, she was a stay in mother, but she won't do that, she will be a photographer, that always has been her dream and she will make it true in this life, she will start an instagram account or something and post them there, then see what happen from then.

So her plan for now, take good care of Noah and become a photographer, simple and easy, right? Of course not, as proven, by Noah crying noise, coming from upstairs.

She panicked and let go of everything, running to him, almost breaking every vase that was in the house, but only breaking one, that woke up Lennon and made him look confused around, but as soon as he heard the cry, he got up, almost falling to the ground, thanks to the blanket, but he was able to survive and get to the room, with no injuries.

"What is it, baby? Did you see a nightmare? Are you hurt somewhere?" Maya asked, worriedly and checking on Noah's body while wiping his tears, as Lennon sat on the other side and patted his hair, asking him the same thing.

"Thought....thought....dream over." Noah said, sniffling and tightly hugging his parents, glad that they were still nice and kind to him. After waking up and not finding any of his parents beside him, he thought the happy dream was over and he was left alone again, with no one beside for days and not getting any the attention whatsoever.

"Dream? This is reality, you are up Noey, did you see a nightmare?" Maya said, a bit confused, as Noah let go of the hug and shook his head, denying what she just said. "Mama, papa nice, this is dream." Noah added, hugging them again, making it clear for the both of them what he meant.

They both looked at each other, a sad expression on their face, hugging Noah tighter, telling Noah that this isn't a dream, that his parents were stupid and ignorant before and that they changed, for him. "We will be the best parent for you and we hope you forgive us for what we did, we were dumb and really bad to you, we are sorry." Maya said, letting go of the hug and staring at Noah's eyes, reassuring him with her eyes, that everything is true.

Teary eyed, Noah looked at his father, who confirmed everything and added, the words he never thought he would hear from him. "We will give you our full attention and time, you can ask anything and we will do it with you."

"Even celebrating my birthday?" Noah shyly asked, his parents previously told him, birthdays are a waste of time and money, he never celebrated any of his birthdays, even if he was a baby, he vaguely remembers the day passing as normal, being ignored and laid on the floor, while his mom talked on the phone with people, he never thought of the day to be something special, until his friend asked about his birthday, which he didn't know, so the teacher has to answer, while his friend explained birthdays to him and how amazing they are; when he asked him mother, she brushed him off and gave him money, telling to celebrate it himself, even though, that day wasn't his birthday.

Those events were engraved in his memories, but they will be soon replaced by better ones.

"Of course!" Maya said, since that fact was obvious, they will have Noah the best birthday ever! But there is one single problem in that, that Lennon also realized after speaking.

"That's a must!" Lennon added, making Noah drunk with happiness and give them another hug, while they gave each other a look, they didn't know when his birthday is, Nova didn't give them a file about him! The only information about him, is the date the husband got the wife pregnant, but that won't be a hundred percent accurate, they are in trouble.
