CHAPTER 7

 

 ARES VASILIOS

 

I woke up with the worst hangover I have ever had. Last night was wild as fuck, Maddox and I ended up drinking like the world was going to end, I don’t remember much but I do remember that we met these twins and I think you know how the ended with me naked in Maddox guest room bed with a naked girl sleeping peacefully next to me. I don’t even remember her name but knew she was a good fuck. I turned on my phone and saw that it was already 7:00am I needed to be at work by 8.

 

I got out of bed and put on my pants and shirts. I walked towards Maddox room to wake that motherfucker up because of him I have this bitch of a hangover and I am going to be late for work. When I walked into his room he laying on his back with a naked girl probably the other twin sitting on his naked lap. I scoffed as I walked towards the bed and stood in front of him giving him a death glare.

 

“morning Ares” he said smirking as he pushed off the girl that sitting on his lap. He got out of bed and put on his sweat pants as he turned to face me with that smirk on his face, I really wish I could fucking punch that smirk off his face.

 

“you.need.to.get.me.to.fucking.work.right.now” I growled at him and he suddenly raised his hands up in the air.” Okay okay bro not need to go all Alpha wolf on me” he said chuckling and I rolled my eyes at him. ‘’ it’s your fucking fault that I’m going to be late for a meeting plus-“ I spoke but suddenly stopped talking when I thought of Luciana.

 

Maddox raised his eyebrows when I didn’t complete my sentence “ why didn’t you complete your sentence? “ he asked looking at me as he dressed up, I shook my head indicating that I didn’t want to talk about it, I didn’t plan on telling Maddox that Luciana, the girl I kissed on new years eve is going to be my personal assistant, she’s going to be working in the same office right besides me. “what are you hiding from me Ares Vasilios? “ Maddox asked again standing infront of me, he had a black suit in his hand as he handed it to me to wear since I didn’t have any work clothes with me at the moment so Maddox clothes would do.

 

“it’s nothing man, it’s just you remember that girl I kissed on New year’s eve? “ I askes and he shook his head “ hmm I remember you kissing a lot of chicks that night bro, you need to be more specific “ he said chuckling and I sighed. “ the brunet girl I kissed during the truth and dare game” he looked at me with recognition in his eyes a look telling me that he knew who I was talking about “you mean the run away girl” he said and I nodded “yeah Luciana Milano, she and I actually met again” I said walking out of the bathroom and adjusting the black suit that I fitted on me. He nodded at me waiting for me to continue so I did “ long story short she’s my personal assistant” I finished off and he looked at me with a huge smirk on his face.

 

“that hot run away chick is now your personal assistant “he hooted and I rolled my eyes in annoyance. “she’s my assistant bro nothing else, it’s strictly work” I said shaking my head and walking out of the room, I looked at my watch and saw it was almost 7:30am, I sighed and looked at Maddox. “I’m fucken late” I said to myself as I walked out of Maddox building and into his car.

 

Once I reached the office I saw that the reception area was completely empty, I didn’t see Luciana in the waiting room. I wonder if Anna made her go upstairs already. “good morning sir “Anna greeted and I greeted her back “ did the new employee arrive already? “ I asked her and she shook her head” no sir, she didn’t arrive as yet and she’s already late on the first day” she said and I nodded as I walked to the life with Maddox following behind me. I hate when people are never on time.

 

When I entered my I was greeted by my old man aka my father Javier Vasilios former CEO of the company.

 

He was sitting in the sit with a times magazine in his hand, when he noticed me in the room he left the magazine back down and stood up “Ares “ he greeted, I nodded and replied “good morning father” he looked at me from head to toe and then looked at Maddox, I could tell that everything was turning on his head and he probably figured out that I had a wild / rough night “ I can see you had a rough night hence you paying the price of it with this hangover, you should tell your secretary to bring you some painkillers for the headache since you are going to be attending a lot of meeting” he finished off, see I told you that he would figured it out.

 

I stood silently in front of my father, I couldn’t disagree to anything he was saying because he was right , I really do need some painkillers for this mother fucking headache since I’m going to be attending some important meetings with my personal assistant who is still late. I hope she didn’t get cold feet this morning and then suddenly bail on this job.

 

I was cut off my thoughts when I heard my father speak “ you have to attend my one friend’s party this weekend, he have a daughter who is soon taking over her father’s business and I would for you to accompany her and be her date.” He said and I shook my head, that’s one thing I’m not going to do, I’m not going to use a girl for her position or business, yes I sleep with them for fun and pleasure but I would want to use them for their money or matter how Rich they are. “ I  think I would pass on that father” I replied walking over to my desk and sitting myself down in my chair, “ you know I won’t accept that son so I told my friend to tell his daughter that you will fetch her from her house and take her to the venue. I don’t want any excuses from you, this is final” he finished off as he walked out of the office without telling us goodbye.

 

Maddox walked in and sat on the chair infront me, father  never really liked Maddox much because apparently Maddox is a wild friend, but honestly Maddox is the only person that can calm me down when I’m angry which is about now. I’m sitting in my sit fuming after my father dropped that bomb about me and his friend’s daughter, one thing about my father  is that he can never take a No. No matter how much I didn’t want to agree with him and not go to the party, I had to listen to him. I noticed it was already 9am and my assistant wasn’t here yet and I had a lot of meetings I had to attend and I was suppose to take her along with me and show her how things is suppose to be.

 

“man calm down, you know how your dad can be, yoy can disrespect him and not attend the party, you should just for it and get it done with, you don’t have to flirt with her or even talk to her and I’m going to be there so you don’t have to worry about it” he said looking at the empty table on the side of the my office, he chuckled to himself “ she’s late isn’t she, that’s why you even more mad, you hate late comers” he said and I nodded. “ if she’s not here in the next 15 minutes, I’m going to lose it “ I said letting out a dark chuckle.

 

After couple of minutes, Maddox left the room and the door opened revealing a blushed up Luciana. She looked like she ran a marathon to get her. “ you are one hour late Miss a Silvia” I replied looking at her flushed up face. Soon she apologized and explained her reason to why she was late. So me being professional I gave her a warning plus I wasn’t in a good mood because of my horrible hangover and also because of the information that my father has dropped on me.
