CHAPTER 5

ARES VASILIOS

I stepped out of my car that I have parked in front of my house or what people would call it a mansion. The first thing I did when I got appointed as CEO was to buy a house of my own. It’s not that I hated my old house it’s just I needed some privacy. I live on my own and honestly I am loving it. Of course I have staffs and cooks to help around in the house so everything is just fine as it is.

Cedrick my butler opened the front door as I walked into the house “good day sir” he greeted and I smiled at him and greeted back “good day Cedrick “he smiled back and walked inside the house to probably do something else. You see Cedrick is one of the oldest staff here and I treat him with respect since he is an elder person and honestly I feel as if he understands me more than my own father. I have a very good relationship with everyone here and I don’t ever ill treat them except the times where I lose my temper which is rare. I hate treating them badly and it’s not something that I would do. The staff at my old house weren’t treated very good because my father of course was ruthless and he never gave a damn about anyone’s feelings except for my mother.

I walked into my room as I took out my suit jacket and tie and opened couple of my shirt buttons. I made my way to my room balcony and lit a cigarette as I leaned against the wall. A certain brunet with hazel orbs popped up in my mind. I couldn’t get her out of my head, it’s like she has imprinted herself into my head that I can’t even get her out of it. I smiled to myself as I blew out the smoke from my mouth as I thought of her being my assistant. At least this way I can get to know her even more better.

That night when she disappeared after giving me blue balls I ran after her but I couldn’t find her, a part of me thought it was all just a hallucination and the other part knew it was real. I even tried getting a hold of her friend but nothing it was like both of them just disappeared out of the blue and now after 4 years she was standing front of me looking more mature and extremely gorgeous. I threw away the cigarette stumpy and made my way back into my room. I undressed and walked straight into my bathroom to release myself.

It was dinner time already so I threw on a grey sweatpants and a white t-shirt and walked downstairs to the dining room to eat. Once I have eaten I walked to my study room and completed some work that I have left incomplete. Suddenly my study room door banged opened and my best friend Maddox walked in with a huge smile on his face.

“good afternoon my best friend” he said making himself comfortable on my couch. I looked up at him and let out a chuckle “what brings you here Maddox” I said and he looked up at me with a smirk.” Well you see Ares, I heard there’s a new club that opened and I would really like my best friend / wingman to join me” he replied, I gave him a look that screamed are you fucking serious and he just chuckled as he stood up and walked towards me.

“you do know it’s a weekday right and I have a company to run” I continued and he just looked at me like I was crazy “bro you are fucken 24 not 40 years old, stop acting like your father now” he said sighing. I closed my laptop as I woke up from my seat “I can’t go to work tomorrow with a hangover Maddox” I replied and he just stood there smiling “I promise you won’t get too drunk and plus there’s going to be hot girls there and I really need to get laid and by the looks of it you need to get laid as bad as I do” he said and I let out a low chuckle. There was only one girl on my mind and I need to get her out of my mind otherwise I’m going to go crazy and he was right about the getting laid part. I haven’t had sex in weeks now and I really need to get off.

I looked back at Maddox and nodded “okay fine since you insisted and I really need to get laid but I can’t go overboard with alcohol because I have a big meeting tomorrow.” I told him and he nodded back with a cheeky smile on his face. “ great!! Now go and get changed I will meet you outside” he said walking out of the room. I shook my head and smiled to myself, Maddox is known as a party animal and I am definitely going to regret agreeing to him tomorrow morning. I changed into some black jeans, with a white shirt and my black leather jacket I didn’t bother with my hair because it looks fine messy and I know chicks dig guys with messy hair. I chuckled to myself and walked outside where Maddox was leaning against his car smoking something that doesn’t smell like how a cigarette should smell. He looked up at me and gave him a nod “let’s get wasted brother” he said and I shook my head laughing as I got into the passenger seat.

Let’s just say the night didn’t exactly go as it was planned.
