I rest my head on the window as I stare out at the trees that we pass by. Ares have been driving for the pass 45 minutes and he hasn't said a word where we are going, whenever I asked him all he said that it's a surprise and to trust him. The weather has changed drastically and I somehow wished I used something more comfy, the dress I was using rides up showing more than I liked and the heel boots was Killing my feet.

Ares seems to notice my discomfort because he turns to look at me and then his graze falls on my thighs, he looks back up at me " you good?" he ask, his voice laced with concern. I shrug my shoulder as I sit upright on the seat "I don't know, my feet are killing me and I wish you told me that this was going to be a long ride so I would have wore something more comfy" I whine out and he had the nerves to give me that million dollar smile, I pout in my seat as I turn to look back out of my window.
