"Skylar is awake" a man coldly said by the end of the phone

"Again??" He yelled in anger

"Yes again"

"She refuses to die,I have to try again huh? Why can't she just die?" Alex almost threw his phone in anger

"Skylar, Skylar, Skylar"

He kept muttering her name in annoyance and fear

'What if she tells Leon, what if she already told him nooo it can't be I have to stop her'

He quickly pick his car keys and dashed out

Skylar POV

"You ok ??"

Leon my so called husband asked for the fourth time

I nodded

The doctor stood by my bed checking my Bp

"She was stimulated but she's fine and be careful don't pressure her she might fall back into comma"

He said and my husband nodded in understanding

The doctor finished checking me up and left us to attend to another patient

"My sis will be fine right??"

My sister spoke with worry laced in her voice

"She will be fine" my husband assured

"So we are married?"

I asked again to be sure

"Yes we are"

He replied a bit tired, i've been asking the same question over and over again i nodded my head

"Stella, are you still here?" Leon asked

"It Stacy" she corrected annoyed this time

"I'm staying with Skylar"

"You don't have to" i said

"But…"

"You don't have to I will stay here with her"

Leon interrupted

someone barged in before she could reply

"Alex what are you doing here?"Stacy asked eyeing Alex

I frown 'who's Alex again?'

Alex wasn't looking at her so he doesn't saw the sign she kept making with her eyes

But I clearly saw it

"Hiii Skylar heard you are awake" Alex said sweating profusely

"And who are you?" I asked as I was already confused

"It me Skylar don't…."

"Alex" Stacy suddenly yelled his name

"What?" He asked glaring at her and for the first time he looked at her, he saw her blinked her eyes

"What?" He mouth confused

She glared at him and gave him the shut up look

I pretend not to see their little exchange

"And who's he?" I asked looking attentively at Leon

"He's your brother" he replied

"Oh,my brother i see"

Alex frown not understanding what was happening, he looked at Stacy for explanations

But she kept mute

I know he must be wondering what wrong as his frown deepened but he still shrug and moved closer to mr

"I will be back I can go now since I know you are fine"

He stretch his hand to pat my hair but withdrawn his hand cause of Leon's fierce gaze

"Bye Skylar"

"Bye"

And he left just like that

"James, don't you think it's about time we visit Skylar?" Diana asked her husband

She was busy doing her makeup, she drew her liner,frown clean it redrew it

'Perfect' she thought with a smile

"Why should we visit her?" He replied with a question

"Cause you're her father"

"Stop tagging me and that bastard we are not related" he barked

"Easy James, she's your daughter"

"That bastard isn't related to me in any way"

"Even if you aren't her father,she's your stepdaughter"

"Why are you so obsessed with visiting her? you want her dead just yesterday"

"Well,just that….."

They heard the front door opened and closed

"I think Stacy is back" Diana said and quickly went to the sitting room,she can't wait to see her daughter and ask about Skylar

"Stacy"

"Mom" Stacy replied clearly drained

"You Ok?"

"Yea I'm just tired" she yawned and prepared to go her room but she was stop by her mother

"Stacy...about Skylar I heard she's awake is she…."

"Mom no need to be afraid,yea she's awake but she doesn't have memory

Diana creased her brow

"you mean?"

"She lost her memory"

"Oops that a relief" Diana said with a sigh of relief

"Yea can I go now?"

"Don't tell me you've been with that winch since…."

"Yes mom,have been with her it all because of Leon" Stacy interrupted and her eyes sparkles when she mentioned Leon

"Stacy"

"Yes mom"

"Do you still want Leon?"

Stacy blushed and nodded grinning stupidly

"What if mom promise to get him for you"

Stacy eyes beamed and looked at her mom with excitement

"Can you??"

"Don't you trust me?"

"I do"

"Relax huh? I only need to get that brat to divorce him"

"But mom, Leon doesn't seems to like me"

"Why did you say so??"

"He can't even recall my name"

"Just that,leave it to mom"

"Mom is the best" Stacy pecked her mom on the cheek and proceeded to her room

'Skylar don't blame me for being mean,you should have died,then it would have been better,but since you want it this way don't blame me,Stacy deserves the best'

Diana thought with a smile,she proceeded to her room to convince James

Skylar POV

I stared at the mirror with mixed emotion

'I can't even recall how I look'. I thought and couldn't help but admire my looks.

I look gorgeous even without makeup ,i thought Stacy was most beautiful woman alive until i saw how i look

My emerald eyes stands out and you can't help to get lost in them,my golden brown hair drop on my shoulder like silk,my nose stood pointed and small my lips is quite attractive i can't help but lick my lips to wet them,although they are chapped,they still look plumb and attractive

'I look good' i thought with a smile but frowned when i remember si can't even remember who I am

I don't know who and who not to trust,i can't tell an enemy to a friend

I stared hard at myself and saw a blank look

'What if Leon is not really my husband, and Stacy, Alex what of we are not related' i can't help to think that way,all sorts of people just came claiming relation with me

'What if they….'

"Are you done?" Leon asked outside the restroom

"Yes,I'm done" i replied and he opened the door and entered,he pushed my wheelchair out

"It time for your check up"

"huh" I replied,and looked up at Leon I can't help but smile

'Maybe he's really my husband' i thought and blushed he's been with me since yesterday he slept on the couch in my ward,attending to all my needs even my so called sister who stayed behind isn't doing much and as for my brother he disappeared and have not heard from him

I felt safe with Leon

'He must be my husband'

I went into the examination room but Leon stayed behind,he wanted to go in with me but was stopped by the Doctor so he had no choice to stay behind

"I thought this is her ward,where the hell is she?" Diana half yelled irritated

"Nobody forced you here,you insisted on coming"James replied with annoyance

"That doesn't mean she can keep me waiting, shit I shouldn't have come"

"You can still go back it not too late"

"James!" She yelled

"What?" He replied clearly annoyed

"You are so annoying you just need to pretend, we just need to give her the idea that we are good to her and make her trust us completely it that simple"

"And you think it will work?"

"Have known Skylar ever since she was born she's so stupid that she can't tell good from bad,we did the same to her before it worked then it should work nooo it definitely going to work this time too"

"You sound confident"

"Nobody knows Skylar as i do" she said with a proud smile

"Someone will mistake you for her mother" James said with a smirk

"That exactly what I want" she replied and look at the door with impatience,she was curious to why Skylar isn't back from wherever she went to but froze when she saw Skylar by the door

"Sky….Sky...Skylar...is that you?" She stuttered not sure if Skylar heard their conversation or not

"It you...I see" she chuckled nervously

"How long have you been there?"

Skylar stare at her for a while and finally talk

"Who are you??"
