Chapter One Hundred and Fifty-One

Harvey clenched his fist in anger, crushing the wine glass beside him. He had spent a lot of time thinking about gifts for Quinn, trying to avoid repeating past presents. Yet, all he had received in return over these past times were cold indifference from her and her family.

"Summon V here," Harvey exhaled sharply, reaching for a tissue to wipe his hands before continuing to write his letter. Despite his discomfort, he pressed on with the unfinished letter.

The delivery person heard Harvey's words like a lifeline, quickly escaping the room. A while later, the old steward also entered Harvey's office.

The steward was elderly, but his demeanor remained composed and swift, never losing his elegance. He calmly inquired, "What do you need, sir?"

Harvey didn't look at the steward, his attention still on writing the letter to Quinn. In the past, he had admired Gemma's beauty, which made writing letters to her effortless. But now, he couldn't do the same.
