Over my dead body

   Episode 1

"Over my dead body!" Valentine yelled above the loud music coming from the spacious living room.

As she stomped on the helpless stairs heavily, her long nightwear seemed to beg for mercy as well as it swept the bare floor.

Tony was seated in his favorite rollercoaster chair as he played his life game. "Not again! What's it this time!" He yelled naughtily.

"Will you turn off that trash right now!" Valentine yelled back at the teenager, her eyes were blazing with fury.

Tony glared at his mother, and noticing how furious and serious she appeared to be, he grabbed the remote control and turned down the volume of the home stereo.

He knew he had to do that and keep his stubbornness aside, else he would risk getting a flipflop thrown at his head. "Can you sit down, Valentine? You look like a ghost!"

Valentine cursed under her breath, and raked through her hair with her long nails. "He's divorcing me! He's getting another woman. I can't believe he could do this to me." The young lady cried, ruining her mascara.

Tony stared at his mother and shook his head. "Ryan wants a divorce? Don't you think it's about time that happened? Yes! Because you guys are better off separated!"

Valentine tightened her knuckles, her face turning white. "Tony McCartney? Get up to your room. Right now!!"

"Yeah sure I will. The truth they say is bitter, right?" He threw casually at his mother and started up the stairs. Suddenly he stopped and climbed down.

"You know what? I think a sleepover at Timmy's place will be a Christmas gift right now." With that, the young man picked up his headphones, kicked up a football lying few miles away from the door, and he was out of the house.

Steadying her breath, Valentine found herself a good seat and screamed loudly into the air.

As if having a dickhead of a husband wasn't enough, she's got a son who wouldn't waste anytime to tell her to fuck off.

Her phone began to ring suddenly, and she lurched forward, grabbing it with unnecessary force.

Thankfully, it was someone she was expecting. "Where are you right now? We need to see. Yes. I've been framed up."

  ******SOMEWHERE IN NEW YORK******

It was freezing cold at nine PM in the streets of Allendale. A woman in her early fifties was seen in front of her large window, a grim look on her face and a glass of wine in her hand.

She suddenly turned away from the window, and came face to face with a young man who looked a little distraught.

The classy old lady smiled and began walking away from the window side. "Are you still doubting what I'm doing, son?"

The young man sighed deeply, shook his head and shrugged. "I don't know, Mom. I don't know if all these will work out the way we want. What if Valentine doesn't fall into the trap? You know I'd die without her."

The woman nodded, placed her glass cup on the transparent table in the large living room. "I know how much you obsess over her, son. You are my only child, and that's why I'm doing all this.

"Just watch out. She will soon be out of that marriage, and you will have her like you've always wanted, but that's on one condition though."

The young attractive man glanced up with his brows knotted. " What conditions now? I've done my part by going to therapy."

The woman smiled and moved closer to her son. She stretched her hand, and touched his brown curly hair. "I know my love. The condition I'm setting is for your own good as well."

"What's that if I may ask?"

"As soon as Valentine becomes yours, her son will be discarded."

The young man's eyes dilated in shook. "Mom!"

The woman nodded and stood up in one single movement. "That's my condition. You won't raise Tony."

With that said, she turned, picked up her glass of wine and started heading towards a long flight of stairs, leaving her son in bewilderment.

  ******LOS ANGELES******

Ryan McCartney had never been so upset and frustrated in all his thirty years on the surface of the earth.

As much as he loved his wife, he still couldn't get that image out of his head.

It was frustrating to have to remember that image everytime he closed his eyes. He would never have imagined that valentine would cheat on him.

He paced round in his spacious office decorated with expensive furnitures. He stopped in front of the family picture on the wall and glared angrily at it.

There was Valentine smiling beautifully back at him with that contagious smile on her face.

He was behind her, his arms wrapped around her waist with baby Tony in her arms.

Without thinking twice, he roared out angrily, punched the portrait, scattering tiny piece of glasses all over the red rug on the floor. Seconds later, he started to bleed from the knuckles.

The door burst open, and Marina Gomez, his secretary rushed into the office. "Boss!" She gasped on seeing the blood dripping from his hand.

"Get out. I don't want to see anyone." He said hoarsely, panting with anger.

Marina stood still. Her boss could be anything but hostile. She'd studied him like a book for the past two years she's been working for him.

All effort to get his attention proved abortive. She'd wear skimpy office skirts and shirts with no top buttons, but he wouldn't even glance twice.

He was the most handsome and cutest young and successful man she'd ever come across, and for that, she would not give up on trying to make him hers.

So now that the opportunity has presented itself, why would she stupidly leave him in such a despair?

Hurriedly, she moved closer to him and grabbed his bleeding hand. "You are bleeding. You need to get treated."

Ryan sighed with pain that sounded more like a groan. He glanced at Marina as she took off the scarf around her neck, bent and started rolling it around his hand.

His eyes dropped at her cleavage which had become more pronounced with the scarf gone, and without thinking twice, he grabbed her by the waist.

Marina gasped as he  pulled her forcefully in a way that made her body slammed against his, and engaged her mouth in a fierce frenzy kiss.
