Third person's POV

Lincoln remained calm despite his client's outburst. He had seen Astor lose his temper many times over the years, and he knew the best strategy was to wait for the anger to pass.

"Mr. Sinclair, please lower your voice," Lincoln said quietly. "We're in a public place, even if this is a private room."

Astor took several deep breaths, trying to regain his composure. But his hands were still shaking with anger and his voice remained harsh.

"Tell me exactly what this law firm said in their message," Astor demanded.

Lincoln looked down at his phone and read the message aloud. "They said: 'We are representing a client in a matter concerning the will of late Mrs. Sinclair. We have reason to believe that certain assets were not properly distributed according to her final will. We request all documentation related to share transfers and inheritance distributions made after her death.'"

"That's impossible," Astor said. "my late wife's will was very clear. She left everything

Third Person's POVJACKSON MADDOXThat same evening, as the city lights began to twinkle in the darkness, Jackson Maddox sat alone at a small table in Murphy's Bar, one of the quieter drinking establishments in the downtown area. The bar wasn't crowded on weeknights, which made it a good place for private conversations.Jackson had been waiting for about twenty minutes, occasionally checking his phone and sipping on a beer while he waited for Liam to arrive. Earlier that day, Liam had sent him a text message asking to meet at the bar so they could discuss how to deal with their blackmailer situation once and for all.The dim lighting in the bar created shadows across Jackson's face as he sat there thinking about all the complications in his life. The blackmail threats, his feelings for Liam, the family business problems, and his deteriorating relationship with his sister Avery.A few minutes later, Liam walked through the front door of the bar, looking around until he spotted Jackson

Third person's POV The room smelled like expensive vodka and expensive cigarettes. Jackson dropped the glass of vodka in his hand, the crystal clinking softly on the table, catching the lamp’s golden glow. His shirt was open, his tie long discarded on the arm of the couch, and the look in his eyes, fuck! it was the kind of look that melted resolve and ignited something primal.“I know you’re feeling me,” Jackson said, voice low and hungry. “I know you love me more than my sister. I know Avery’s just a thing. I’m the real deal here.”Liam stood on the opposite side of the suite, his chest rising and falling, caught between guilt and desire. But Jackson? He looked like a man who had already made up his mind.“I’m not..” Liam tried to speak, but Jackson stepped closer, slow and sure.“You’re not what?” Jackson murmured, standing just inches from him now. “Not attracted to me? Not obsessed with every damn move I make?”Liam swallowed. “You’re drunk.”“I’m buzzed,” Jackson corrected. “B

Third person's POV In the EveningAs the sun began to set and the sky turned orange and pink, Liam drove his expensive car through the busy city streets. He was heading to the hotel address that he had given to Jackson earlier that afternoon. The hotel was a tall, fancy building with bright lights and a doorman standing outside in a uniform.Liam parked his car in the hotel's parking area and walked through the large glass doors into the lobby. The inside of the hotel was very elegant, with marble floors, crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, and expensive furniture everywhere. He walked across the shiny floor to the front desk where guests check in and out.Behind the reception counter stood a very beautiful young woman. She had smooth dark skin, bright eyes, and a warm smile. She was wearing the hotel's professional uniform - a navy blue blazer and a name tag that showed she worked there."Hi," Liam said as he approached the counter."Good evening, sir. How can I help you

Third person's POV Jackson's hand stayed on the door handle much longer than it needed to. He stood there in the warm afternoon sunshine, but he didn't seem to notice how nice the weather was. His face looked tight and stressed - a mix of anger and shock at what had just happened inside the house. He could barely hear the sound of the door closing behind him because his mind was spinning with thoughts about his conversation with Avery.Just as Jackson was standing there trying to process everything, Liam came around the corner of the long driveway. Liam had just gotten out of his own car and closed the door with a loud slam that showed he was upset about something too."Jackson?" Liam called out right away. His voice was full of worry and concern. He could tell something was wrong just by looking at Jackson's face. Liam walked quickly across the paved driveway to reach his friend.Jackson didn't answer Liam's question immediately. He was still too angry and confused to speak clear
