Vera peeped through the window and watched and Jojo was being drugged away. She smiled brightly.

“Let me see how you get out of this, b*tch!” She said.

She was happy. She was finally getting rid of her. If things went as planned, and Jojo never came back, she would have Finn to himself.

She was going to be Mrs. Daniels. Every woman in the country would admire her.

Just then, she saw two guards run over and check around. They seemed to have heard something.

One of them picked up something from the ground. They looked at each other and we're about to go around looking.

But Vera quickly got out of the house. “Is something wrong?” She asked.

The guards looked at each other again. “We heard some struggle here, ma'am. And we found this phone too,” one of them said.

Vera's expression changed a little. If the guards knew that Jojo had been taken, they would go looking for her. And it was still early. There was a possibility that they would find her.
