Chapter 76

It has now been two days and my muscles are aching. I’m currently in our soaker tub, taking a bubble bath to loosen up my muscles. Luke and I have been sparring and practicing our magic nonstop. We are entrusting the training of all the species to King Parker, Uncle Nico and my grandpas. They are all very capable. My mom and grandma have been going back and forth between helping Luke and I spar, showing us different moves, and using magic on the warriors during training to make sure they are staying alert. Griffon has been giving us daily progress alerts and we found out that the hunters left Bangor Maine yesterday morning. They could be here any time now. I’m a little worried, because I keep getting a really bad feeling about this. I am just glad we had the foresight to evacuate all the packs and noncombatants. They don’t need this and the children shouldn’t be exposed to it.
