"Cia..."

He heard her soft and gentle voice telling him while she gazed at him with her wide blue orbs.

"My name is Cia. Who took me here?" she asked him, still afraid. His jaw tightened at her question.

"Did you take me here?” She finally dared to ask him. His nostrils flared. He was a second away from choking her for running her mouth so much. He hated when someone dared to question him for anything.

"Boss, let me handle her please," Violet jumped into the matter, understanding the situation that now that naive girl was testing his patience.

He gawked into her innocuous azure eyes, which were still staring at him confused but now the fear had started fading from her eyes. She was not looking that afraid of him, even after he was so close to her, instead she was staring at him curiously.

Now what kind of human she was?

He gave her a warning glare before maintaining his stature, and then he dashed out of that room.

"What happened to him? Why was he looking at me like that? Did I ask him something wrong?” She continued to question.

Both Violet and Richard sighed at her non-stop questioning. They both shared a glance with each other before looking at her again, who was still sitting on the bed and was now gazing at the door with a confused and even displeased look.

“Keep your mouth quiet in front of him if you don't want to die in his hands," Richard warned her. She turned her eyes at him.

"And why would he kill me? What have I done to him? I don't even know any of you," she justified herself, a bit angry now. She didn't even know where she was. No one was talking about it, and now she was getting threatened to get killed for asking such needed questions.

What was happening around her?

Violet gulped, whereas Richard rubbed his palm over his head.

"Violet, control her mouth before he hears her," Richard spat, exasperated, and then walked out of the door.

"But I haven't said anything wrong. Why would he kill me when I just asked him a normal thing?”

Violet sighed. Almost each and every human who had seen him was terrified of him but at the same time, enthralled by his demeanour and evillishly bewitching presence but there she was...questioning him over and over again, even after the warning.

She really wasn't in love with her life or else, her way of looking at people and things were a little different from others.

Violet tried to sit beside her, and she immediately made a space for her to sit by moving away. Violet saw her looking at her, curiously. Her presence didn't seem harmful in any way, but she was present at a most inhuman place or she could say.. closer to the most inhuman presence.

"Cia, now I'll ask you some questions and you're going to answer them to me, honestly. Okay?" Violet said and watched her staring at her for a while before nodding in agreement.

"Okay, so first tell me. Who were those men and why were they running behind you?"

Violet saw an instant fear emerge in her sapphire eyes as soon as she asked her that.

"I don't know those people. I...I was sitting on the bench of that park and they came to me and started s.. saying really very bad and wrong things to me," her eyes watered, whereas her voice started shivering in fear.

"They even tried to t.. touch me when I told them to stay away from me and then I ran away from them but they followed me and then I bumped into someone's car and I don't remember anything after that," she answered, honestly.

Violet sighed.

"Did those men harm you in any way?" Violet questioned, mindful of her words to not make her more afraid. Violet saw her shaking her head in denial.

"They told me they were going to do so much fun with me tonight and I know they wanted to harm me, so I ran away from them as fast as I could," a tear slipped down from her flushed cheeks and Violet could clearly feel her pain and fear.

"Hey, it's okay. Those men will get their punishment for trying to hurt you, Cia," Violet tried to assure that poor girl.

She nodded before wiping her tears with the back of her palm.

"Good but now tell me, where is your home and your parents? They must be looking for you,"

Violet saw her turn stiff at her question. She looked at her like a statue before her eyes filled with more tears again.

"I have no home,"

Violet turned startled at the new piece of information.

"And your parents?" She further asked and watched her taking her head down.

"I don't know," she answered, looking down. Violet was stunned at the revelation.

"Then where do you live and with whom?"

Violet saw her start fiddling with her fingers, and she answered without taking her head up

"I live in the streets and I have been homeless since the day I started understanding the things and people around me. I have no one,"

Now that was something Violet had never expected. He needed to know about this.

"Cia, don't go out of this room. I will come back soon, okay?"

She gazed at Violet, cluelessly before nodding, and then saw Violet leaving that room.

As soon as she saw Violet completely vanishing from her eyesight. She took her head up and looked at the ceiling above her.

“I am sorry for lying, mum….” A tear escaped from her eyes as she apologised to her deceased mother. For her, it was a harmless lie because she couldn't dare to tell this world the truth with the fear of getting harmed and hurt.

For years, she had been caged inside the walls of her home in the name of her protection, but now she had finally broken that cage, because those walls were about to rupture her life completely, so she ran. She ran away from that cage as far as possible.

But she didn't even have a single clue what her little lie was going to cost her in the coming future.

"Yes, boss. She said she is homeless and has no one. She doesn't know about her parents,"

His stone hard expressions turned more firm at Violet's words.

"I think the girl is harmless, boss," Richard agreed with Violet in front of their boss.

"She looks like a teenager and her behaviour doesn't even look suspicious,"

"Yes, boss. She said, since the day she has started understanding the things around her, she is a homeless and has no one,"

He silently heard each and every word before snapping his gaze at Violet.

"Take her here,"

Violet gulped at his curt tone and by finding that rapicious expression hovering over his face.

"Now, I will ask some questions to her," his voice turned more diabolic.

Violet nodded and then walked out of that room. He leaned his back against the chair he was sitting and closed his eyes while moving the paperweight on the desk before him with his palm.

Richard gazed at his every action. He was looking more calm than usual which was not a good sign. His calmness was like a calmness before a deadly storm. Hope that storm didn't burst out on that poor harmless girl.

He stopped moving that paperweight when he heard those gentle footsteps getting closer to him. He forwarded his head and then opened his eyes only to meet with those sapphire eyes which were staring at him a little displeased.

She was standing at his door, and by staring at her annoyed frown, he had already guessed that her fear had completely faded. Instead she was looking displeased by seeing his presence before her.

She was quite fearless than he had expected her to be.

"Come," Violet told, who was holding her arm. She stepped inside the door and Violet walked beside her.

He watched her curious azure eyes scanning her entire surrounding before they got fixed at him.

Interesting. She found the place more intriguing than him.

He leaned forward and then wandered his gaze all over her body, which was covered in a black ankle length jeans and red top, and finally his eyes stopped at her blue shining crystals on her tiny face.

"What is your name?" He again asked her that question.

She became more annoyed. He had a short term memory loss or what? She had just told him her name.

"My name is Cia,"

His grin stretched into a vicious smirk.

"What is your name?" He again stated that question to her. Now her annoyance turned into a little bit of anger. She had already started disliking this man as she had just gotten threatened by his name.

"C...I....A.....Cia..." she spelled out her name, making Richard bewildered and Violet gulped at her way of responding.

His expression still remained unchanged at her tone and answer.

"Cia, he is asking about your full name," Violet murmured closer to her ear, before her boss could kill her for annoying him so much.

"Oh..." her angry expression turned into a soft one again, hearing Violet. She looked at that demonic man before her and answered.

"I don't know my surname," she said to him. He turned a little more amused at her answer.

"And what is your parents name?" He queried further, still staring at her.

"I don't know," her answer was still the same.

Now he leaned back a little against his chair.

"How old are you?" He uttered, calmly.

"I8,"

Her instant reply and answer widened his smirk.

"And how do you know about your age if you have no one to tell you about this?"

This question of his turned her speechless. He was sure she wouldn't have the answer to his question and then he would surely slit her throat and take out her real identity and truth from her because he was sure she was hiding something.

"Just like I know my name is Cia, I know I am 18 years old because I remember a blurry memory about a woman, who used to call me Cia and she had told me I was 7 years old that time and it was almost 12 years ago so according to that calculation, I am 18 years old now," she described him.

Her story intrigued him. She was really ready with all her answers.

"And who was that woman and where is she now?"

This time he noticed his question made her eyes turn gloomy and slightly watery.

"She left me alone when I was 7 and she didn't take me with her,"

He peered into her glossy eyes like she was saying those words through her soul.

"And where is she now and what is her name?"

A tear slipped down from her eyes, which she immediately wiped and replied.

"I don't remember anything more than my name and age," she answered, looking down.

He stared at her lowered head before uttering.

"And from where did you get these clothes if you're homeless and have no one?"

This time, she took her eyes up and looked at him.

"An old woman gave me this to wear today in the morning when I was sitting on that street. She also gave some money,"

He slightly tilted his head and again scanned her attire which was looking clean and new.

"And I hope you remember that woman's name because you were 18 this morning?"

Her gaze turned into a glare at his taunting words. He was just waiting for her to make a single mistake and then he would decide how to kill her.

"Yes, her name was Cassie. She took me to her home and gave me her granddaughter's clothes to wear because my previous clothes had turned very dirty and even ripped. She even gave me food to eat,"

He heard her explanation before stretching his head towards Richard's direction who understood his boss's signal and nodded

"Can you tell me that woman's address?" Richard asked her. She bobbed her head and narrated him the direction to that woman's house.

Richard left after that and then she saw him getting up from his chair. He took his long strides towards her, slowly and was about to walk past her but stopped beside her.

"If that woman told even a slightly different story than yours," he paused and tilted his head to look at her, where he saw those sapphire eyes already on him.

"This night would be the last night of your life," he rasped in his extremely hoarse voice before walking out from there.

She sighed as soon as he left, and then she. closed her eyes. She didn't know what else that night was going to bring to her and for that, she now just had to wait and watch.....

"Now before blowing the candles, make a wish, Zia," Zia smiled at her mother hearing her words and nodded. She closed her eyes slowly and made her wish. After that she opened her lashes and the very first thing her gaze caught was those green orbs staring at her because its owner was standing in front of her. She gawked at him through the fire of those burning candles. "Now blow the candles…." Cia's voice made her shrug and then she blew the candles. Everyone started clapping and wishing her whereas she grinned at everyone except that one person. She did her best to avoid his entire presence as much as possible because his mere presence was making her remember what had just happened between them just a while ago and she didn't want to remember it, not even in her dreams again because that was a living nightmare for her. "Once again, happy birthday," Zale fed her the cake to which she smiled and returned the gesture. Zia fed the cake to her parents and grandpa and then extended it t

A knock on the door grabbed the ladies' attention who were present inside Zia's room. They turned their heads and saw Zale standing at the door. Cia passed him a smile before siding away because she knew he was there to see how beautiful his little princess was looking in that dress which they both had selected for their daughter's birthday party. Zale looked at his child and immediately his smile turned more wide by watching Zia. He walked towards her and Zia wrapped her arms around her dad. "This dress is so beautiful, dad. Thank you so much for this," Zia uttered, smiling. Zale took out her face and planted a gentle peck on her head. "It's looking beautiful because my Zia has worn it," Zia giggled hearing her father. "Well…you can also compliment the other ladies present inside this room too, boss," Violet said, who was also there along with Zia's best friend, Riley. Zale chuckled and complimented them and then fixed his eyes on the love of his life, his wife…his Cia…. Cia'

  • TAINTED BY HIM   Alcazar's Princess

"Happy birthday, Zia….," She slowly unlatched her dark black lashes hearing her parents' voice. She adjusted her sleepy vision to the light of the morning and a big smile crept on her pouty rosy lips by watching those two favourite faces of her life. She got up from the bed and opened her arms wide for both of them. With a smile, Zale and Cia hugged their daughter and kissed both sides of her temple."Happy birthday, Zia. Many many returns of the day, my child…." Zale spoke, caressing her light brown hair. Her alluring light blue eyes gleamed up in happiness."Thank you so much, dad…." She again hugged her father. His smile widened as he caged her back. His daughter was his life and the ultimate source of his happiness."Did you already forget about your mamma, Dad's princess?" The father-daughter duo pulled back and chuckled by hearing Cia. Zia stepped closer to her mother and embraced her."How can I forget about this beautiful face of my mamma. It's my everything," Zia said and p

"Careful, Cia….. " Zale uttered while watching his 9 months old pregnant wife who was playing with that kid, Damien. They both were chasing behind a butterfly in the garden of his manor. She was taking her steps slowly while holding the hand of Damien. They both were giggling which made Zale chuckle too. That kid had grown really close to both of them, especially Cia in these past 9 months. Once in a week, he always came to visit Cia with his father or sometimes even with his both parents during his weekend days. The Karlson family had also developed a very close relationship with Cia and Zale because of their elder son growing fondling towards Cia, Zale and their coming baby. "Oh… . No… it flew away… " The kid, Damien whined, watching that butterfly fly away from the flower. Cia chuckled at his tiny pout."We were not supposed to catch it, Damien," she caressed the boy's head who was pouting in anger."Because if we would have caught it then it might have turned very sad because it

"Damien Karlson," the little boy replied. Both Cia and Zale smiled at him. That boy had beautiful honey tanned skin and jet black hair. His eyes had the lightest shade of green which were twinkling like stars every time he smiled through his pearly white teeth. "Beautiful name and how old are you?" Cia asked, stroking his soft cheeks. The boy beamed in Zale's arms and answered. "I am five," "You didn't get hurt somewhere, did you?" Zale asked the boy in concern because that kid fell with a slight force and it was evident in that thudding sound of his falling. "No. I am fine, sir, " the boy shrugged his head while looking at Zale. "I am a brave boy. I don't cry," Zale chuckled at that kid's answer. Indeed that little being seemed brave. He patted his head. He didn't get very well with kids but this kid appeared to be different and he liked it. "Damien…" that voice grabbed the couple's attention and they saw Mr Karlson approaching them. "What are you doing here, Damien? Your mo

Soft and gentle blow of air was grazing against her face, making her golden strands of hair bounce in happiness. A small smile was playing over her lips as her azure eyes were staring at the beautiful horizon through her window. She closed her lashes and inhaled the fresh breeze of the evening which jolted her heart in content. She was enjoying the alluring sunset when she felt those arms wrapping around her waist from behind."I love you…." That raspily husky voice whispered in her ear and pecked below her ear tenderly. Her heart tingled, hearing that voice and feeling that touch. She wrapped her arms over his and leaned against his warm chest."I love you more," Her answer brought a beam to his face. He pecked her temple and embraced her more firmly. "So how was your day at work, Mr Alcazar?" She asked him, staring at the sky which had worn an enchanting shade of orange and slightly yellow. "Well…I attended some meetings, signed some papers, scolded some of my employees and miss
