"Of course" Amanda exclaimed before she ran off on the opposite direction.

Isabella's phone Ping as an indication that Amanda had texted her address so she booked a cab and started her journey towards Amanda's apartment.

By the time she finally reached there it was 4 PM which meant that it had taken her approximately one hour to reach here and she just wondered how exhausted Amanda might feel travelling so much every day. This might be the reason that she missed so many classes.

These were the thoughts that finally led her to think about how grateful she was for having such great parents. Her parents always provided her with everything she had ever wanted but sometimes she wondered what would it like what would it be like to be free, to make your own decisions and to go when ever wherever you liked because even though her parents provided her with everything there was a cost to it and that cost was her freedom. she couldn't make a single decision in her life without her mother poking her nose in it and trying to change it and she usually succeeded which meant that what ever Isabella had done in her entire life what is the product is of her mothers manipulation and choices.

And sometimes it made her feel like she was more of a pet that got things and had to follow the command rather than their child.

Isabella avoided such thoughts because somewhere or the other it made her feel guilty she didn't like thinking bad about her parents after knowing how blessed she was to have them.

So her mind again drifted off to the grey eyed man. He was the reason that she hadn't had a single relationship in the last three years although she knew that the chance of her finding him again was insignificant and even if they met again what were the chances of them ending up together when they have had barely one single conversation in a complete year that to ending in disaster.

When she finally reached Amanda's apartment, She tried her best to hide it but she couldn't hide the distance that she felt from within. The neighbourhood looked crashed and the buildings looked like they were about to collapse any moment. People who walked around on the roads looked like criminals and Stealers which was the reason she was grateful that she had decided to carry a hoodie today.

Sneaking her way through the road making sure not to make any eye contact with any of the hooligans So that she didn't end up in any trouble she sneaked her way into amanda's apartment.

When Amanda told her that she lived in the trashy part of the city and Isabella didn't expect it to be this worst. The roads were unsafe and there were hooligans molesting girls right on the road and nobody tried to stop them. Isabella felt extremely bad for Amanda almost to the point where she decided that once she meets Amanda again she would try and discuss it with Amanda to shift.

Isabella was not very rich at the home but she was enough financially stable that she didn't have to work part-time to afford her life so she decided to maybe work part time at a cafe or something to help out Amanda.

With the thoughts in her head she went inside Amanda's apartment which was barely furnished.

There was absolutely nothing in the apartment except for a bedspread a pillow and and a blanket in the hallway. There was also a small table which had books on it But that was all that accompanied the congested Hall.

She walked towards the kitchen which was even more minimal with just basic essentials and a fridge that looked like it couldn't perform its basic function.

Isabella scolded herself mentally when she realise that unwillingly she had started to judge Amanda and that's not what she wanted to do instead she wanted to help her so she decided to leave the rent in its place effective immediately.

The kitchen was completely messed up and so was the hallway so Isabella predicted that maybe Amanda had left the apartment in Hurry this morning. And it was pretty much expected because she had to travel one hour just to reach the University.

Isabella left the money in the wooden box where exactly she had to put it and decided maybe she could do a little thing for Amanda by just cleaning stuff up.

All the while Isabella made sure that she did not snoop in Any of Amanda stuff while she cleaned her apartment. Once satisfied with her work her exhaustion got back to her again so she decided to call Amanda and inform her that she was leaving and also ask about Julia's state.

When Isabella tried calling Amanda it went straight into the voicemail so she decided to leave a voicemail instead.

"Hi Amanda I have already placed the rent money in the wooden box you have specified so do not worry about your landlord kicking you out also call me when you get this because I am really worried about Julia! take care"

Once done with the Voice Mail Isabella was about to leave when she heard the front door being shut and she predicted it to be the landlord. Not wanting to be alone with whoever had arrived she decided to rush out.

I watched as the stars twinkled on the bright night. Alone standing there made me realise how much significant change had been there in my life in last two years. Life never got easy did it? Two years ago I was telling Dexter that we will get through everything and anything After almost believing that he was dead. And as I stood here all alone looking at the stars from this cliff and the water beneath this height I couldn't help but wonder about him. Everything was hopeless when we found each other there was no clue how we were going to get through it. Marco hadn't woken up in three years and there was no guarantee that he ever will And yet we were still clinging to the full little hope that someday he might and then the two of us could I have forever for ourselves. For ever was the most forbidden concept for humans. Humans at the end of the day as we are, are mortal and perishable. It took me back to memory of a seminar that I attended once, there we talked about humans mortality

" you already know about Marco and Maria and how the two of them were having a child. maria wanted Marco to leave the mafia but that wasn't really possible so instead he took her on a vacation to enjoy the news but something went horribly wrong and the wrong people got the clue that the two of them were spending their time on the island. so he was attacked, the attackers killed Maria and almost killed Marco until he went to coma. and that was the day before Thanksgiving, it was my father calling me ...commanding me to come back because the mafia was my responsibility now. obviously I did not want to go back but that does not change a thing because I was abducted back into the world but then they didn't want the news to go round that Marco was in coma, so I was made to look like Marco since we were pretty much identical and I was to manage mafia instead of him until he wakes up which he did not from last three years." He explained."But you are in power now right? so if you wa

"You are right I have a lot of explaining to do but let's start with introducing you to my brother that is my older step- brother Marco McCoy"Isabella settled patiently at the couch ready for him to explain his story although she would have found it much better if Dexter just sat beside her but maybe he was not just ready to face her yet so he sat on the barstools just beside his brother's bed, looking at him with care and love as he started explaining the story. The only think Isabella couldn't understand was how could Dexter look at him the way he did when Marco and his mother had been nothing but brutal to him."Jacob McCoy! the asshole and unfortunately my father Had tricked Marcos mother into marrying him for a peace treaty that could gain him the power but you already know of that story by Robert. And if you were standing long enough outside that hospital door you would know that my supposed mother is drug addict, which meant that she was ready to s

"Isabella" he said in a shocked voice."You have a lot of explaining to do" she exclaimed folding her hand in a protective manner around her torso. It was maybe that action that made his eyes zero on her now injured and bandaged arm and in a second the worry was shining in his eyes."What happened to your hand?" He asked concerned."I'll be the one asking questions now" She growled before walking inside and dragging him outside the hospital with his hand in hers."Where are we going?" he asked once they were outside."I don't know" she said as she turned to look at him.It was like she was finally looking at him all over again. That face was the guy she had loved immensely, The only difference was his electric blue eyes and the beard covering his face. She tried to utter something, anything. She wanted to shout at him demanding answers about why he lied about his own death and claimed to have killed himself and yet the shock of everyt

Another month had passed and Isabella was better at keeping up with the classes right now because her parents were forced into the college one month ago when she did not go to talk to the professor herself. Lucas was just worried about her health but Sante looked like she could almost relate to what ever Isabella was going through and told her older sister to be the big Great sister she always has been and not to think a lot about mom, dad or anyone or being a disappointment because right now the only priority was her mental health and not anything that made her feel like a failure.Isabella felt much better after talking w

"Kill them all" Marco commanded in the cold voice before taking the lift up to his penthouse. He could still feel faint smell of her lingering into the penthouse although it sounded insane since it had been three months since she left. There was a reason why he was Marco now and that was deadly enough not to just overthrow him and his entire non-existent family but all the mafia syndicates in the world. The only way to keep everything under control was him being Marco.
