CHAPTER 24 Phoenix unexpectedly saw herself in an unfamiliar place. Everywhere looked shady making it impossible for her to see clearly. Well except for the luminous light which shone making everywhere bright up. Looking up Phoenix saw an incredibly huge Fire Bird discerning from the clouds. It emitted so much light that Phoenix had to shade her eyes with her hand. She knew immediately that the bird was Bedelia. " Phoenix " The Fire Bird called and Phoenix immediately bowed in respect. " Glinda's voice sounded worried and that made Phoenix sit up. " He isn't back from work today. Is something wrong aunt? " " Axion didn't go to work today. ❄ CHAPTER 28 ❄ Melinoe held Axion's hand and they vanished, reappearing in a room. The room was decorated beautifully with countless roses, spread out on the floor and the bed. Seeing as everything was well arranged and with a smile of fulfillment, Melinoe turned to face Axion, cupping his cheeks. " Oh, my Axion. How long I've waited and craved for this day " She fondles his face. " Now it's finally the two of us all to ourselves " She placed a kiss on his nose before encircling his hands around her waist. Axion merely stood there without moving. " Now that you're under my control, you'll have to do and say whatever I tell you to, understood? " Axiom nodded. Phoenix pulled out of the hug, hearing Melinoe's voice. Fear engulfed her as Axion glared at her, grabbing her neck. " Who are you and what are you doing here? " He demanded. Tears flooded Phoenix's eyes. She thought he just called her name. He remembered her, didn't he? But how come he doesn't know who she is all of a sudden? As Melinoe's footstep drew closer, Phoenix knew she had to get out of the room before she sees her. She quickly yanked Axion's hand off her neck and dashed to the window. Almost immediately, she transformed into a younger, beautiful, woman. Her hair was all white and she was putting on a black long dress with a staff in her hand. Phoenix's jaw dropped to the floor. " Don't be scared Phoenix, I'm not here to hurt you " The woman said and Phoenix eyed her skeptically. " Who are you? " She demanded. " My name is Narcissa and I am a witch " Hearing that, Phoenix stepped back, a bit scared. The woman chuckled.
