‘What are you talking about?’ Luciana inquired refusing to believe what she just heard.

‘You might want to sit down for this my dear, I wouldn't want you to fall due to shock.’ Emilia gestured to the couch at the corner of the office.

Luciana eyed Emilia cautiously, she wanted to know why this woman addressed herself as her mother-in-law since she couldn’t recall being engaged to anyone before. Knowing she had no choice, Luciana moved toward the couch to sit down and listen to what Emilia had to say.

‘What do you mean you will soon be my mother-in-law?’ She asked as soon as her butt touched the soft cushion.
