A lot of candidates grumbled when they were told the interview had been cancelled. They wanted to be Salvatore's secretary so it came as a blow to them when they heard a candidate had been chosen already.

The guard had to force them to leave, chasing them out of the company before they created a ruckus. Once the hall was cleared, all activities on the first floor went back to normal and everyone went back to their position.

Isabella paced to and fro in the small space of her office. She wasn't bothered by the fact that her office is basically just her desk, computer and six chairs seated against the wall opposite her desk in an open space that is like a lobby to Salvatore's office and anyone who walks in right now would find her lazing around.
