"Are you okay now?"

I nodded and tightened my grip on the mug where the tea she prepared for me was. The heater of her condo was on, though it wasn't winter yet. And I knew it was because of me.

"Thank you," I mumbled.

Athena stayed silent while looking at me. She found me under the pouring rain, shivering in the middle of the sidewalks. I didn't want to go with her honestly, but there was something in me earlier that chose to go with her for some unknown reason.

Caleb was her best friend and I knew that she could bring me back to him and to the police once I come to her, but she didn't and instead, brought me to her condo. I was thankful for that, though I knew she has her personal reason why.
