"What the hell?" I blurted. "How did that happen? Weren't you supposed to hold her?"

"Sorry, Sir. We weren't expecting that she would do that."

"But you're strong! How the hell was she able to make you fall on your knees?"

"The blow that she gave us was strong and we weren't expecting it as well. I think she knows something about martial arts or it could be that she was in a self-defense class before."

Damn right.

It was written in her resume that she joined a self-defense class when she was still in high school.

A heavy sigh escaped my throat as I dismissed them. I, then, fell on my swivel chair and swiveled it to face the sky through the huge glass window. The sky was dark and it would probably rain.

Hazel escaped when they were in the parking lot and they failed to catch her again. She was smart to know that something was wrong, those men who captured her weren't police. They were in Henry's team.
