Chapter 3: A talk in balcony

" It's nice to meet you here" Cindy energetically said as she gives Giovanni a greeting kiss in his cheeks.

" Long time no see!" Cindy squealed as she move away but still holding to Giovanni firm and broad shoulders.

" Oh, *cough* Hi!" Giovanni said in a shy tone as he simply move away from her. Giovanni is now very uncomfortably right now in front of Cindy because he can't see Cindy with clothes. He see her naked which is a total embarassing.

' I should erase that view in my head'

" Why are you here?" Giovanni ask after recovering from shock.

" Well, I'm here to attend your engagement party" Cindy simply answered as she leaned on the balcony.

" How about you? Why are you here? You should be in the room.of your fiance. Not here in the 2nd floor where my room is located at" Cindy said in a meaningful tone that makes Giovanni have cold sweats.

" Really? This floor is where your room located at? I'm sorry, I don't know" Giovanni immediately answered as he avoid Cindy gazes. He can't look into her eyes because he was afraid that Cindy will learned that Giovanni went to her room and see her naked body while hiding in her closets.

" Really? I thought you knew. Because you use to wait for me in the downstairs before" Cindy said as she get a cigarette and lit it up.

" You are now smoking?" Giovanni ask out of disbelief that makes Cindy giggle.

" Why is it bad?" Cindy ask as she start smoking.

" No, I just remember before that you hate the smell of cigarette " Giovanni explained. Cindy just look at Giovanni as she puff out smoke in his face.

" Well, What can I say. Abroad change me a lot " Cindy seductively said as she slightly leaned down forward to Giovanni to give him a view of her blessings.

Giovanni face immedia turn into red as he look on the other direction.

" Sorry, I thought I drop my ring " Cindy mischievously said as she slowly stood up straight.

" Are you going now to my Sister room?" Cindy ask while playing with her hair.

" I-I" Giovanni can't form a words because of how Cindy acting toward him right now.

" So tense. Calm a bit" Cindy casually said as she step back from him.

" No, I'm not. Maybe I'm just nervous for my engagement ceremony " Giovanni awkwardly said that makes Cindy giggle.

"As if it's your first time" Cindy said while giggling that put Giovanni into more awkward situations.

" GIOVANNI!" Giovanni immediately look at the one who calls him.

" Mama" Giovanni said in his Italian accent.

" Giovanni, My dear. Why are you here? You should be in my daughter's room. She's waiting for you since earlier"

" Okay, I'm going Mama. I just accidentally met Ci-" Giovanni didn't finish his words when he saw that Cindy is not there anymore.

" What are you saying my dear?" The step-mother of Cindy ask to Giovanni.

Giovanni just shake his head " Nothing, Let's go" Giovanni immediately said as a change of topic as he give his arms to the Lady.

" Yes, We should go"

CINDY just smirk because of what she is seeing right now. A good mother in-law to her future son

" What a plastic" Cindy comment as she turned her back and walk to the secret passage in the mansion that only part of Montreal family know this.

Cindy pressed the old painting that located at the deepest and hidden part of the mansion as she gets inside and walk to another dark path again.

Cindy touch the wall and system suddenly works and the passage suddenly light up. Cindy walk silently until she reach the end where you have to choose between the 5 doors.

Only among the 5 is the safest door and the rest will lead to your death.

Cindy choose the correct door that her father teach her when she was young. A loud sound of creek echoed to the whole passage.

A form of slyly smile form into her lips when she saw the whole room didn't change at all. This room is a room for the family treasure and heirloom. This is where the family of Montreal located.

" Still beautiful as ever" Cindy whispered as she looked around the place. All the treasure are still there. Nothing change. It feels like after she's gone her father didn't go back to this place ever again.

Cindy walk around the room passing the gold, diamond, ruby and the rarest gem that you could ever see in the world. Cindy stop in the middle of the room where the ring for the next heir is located. Next year will be the year that her father choose the next heir of the Montreal fortune.

And she knows that her Father will choose her twin brother as the heir because of it's gender and also base on the family tradition. Even though that she is eldest in 2 minutes but because of the gender she will not have a chance to be the heir of this family.

" And I don't like that to happen" Cindy muttered as she touch the glass that protecting the ring.

Before Cindy has no interest to be the next heir of her family but after what happened to her. She wants to be the next heir to have power to kick the 2 witches in the mansion and to be the most powerful family than the Monforte's.

She wants to take revenge in every person who make her fools and who make fun of her. She wants to take revenge to those person who made her life miserable.

" You will be mine, Darling" Cindy whispered as she step back from the box glass.

Cindy turned her back as she going to leave the room with a goal to get her rightful place in this family.

CASSANDRA is now beaming happy while greeting her guests in her Engagement party.

" Welcome" She greeted with a happy tone.

Cassandra Ramos the daughter of Mirabel Ramos- Montreal the step-mother of Cindy. Cassandra was known for her delicate and sophisticated style and appearance. She is also expert in etiquette that's why in their society she is the epitome of perfect rich lady. Cassandra is known for her perfect standing in school she is labelled as the most intelligent child of Montreal family and the daughter that the Head of Montreal had.

" So beautiful as ever Cassandra" One of the Montreal relatives greeted to the star of the night.

" Oh, Thank you Auntie. Get inside the party is about to start " Cassandra politely said as she gesture her hands to her Auntie.

The guest are pleased on how Cassandra manage to continue her Engagement ceremony/party despite the bad weather. The party has a lively and nice atmosphere. Their is a live musician that makes the party more lively.

Now, They were thinking that this Engagement ceremony is better than her step-sister had 5 years ago.

" Looks like guest are pleased to your engagement ceremony " Her mother whispered to her ears.

" That's glad to here. Mommy" Cassandra politely answered as she look at her mother.

" By the way did you see that brat? I didn't see her" Her mom said.

" Mommy, Please! Don't searched that woman in my party. I hope she will not attend" Cassandra said while smiling but deep inside she wants close all the doors and gate just to make sure Cindy will not attend her party.

" We are just the same Cassandra. I also hate that woman! Everytime I see her, I can always see her mother in her face!" Her mom said out of irritation.

Mirabel really don't like her step-daughter because of how she remind her the first wife of her husband and it's really giving her a hard time. She feels like the real wife rose from the dead to take her place as the original mistress of Montreal's. They're like oil and water that cannot stay in the same place and when heated they just both exploded.

" Did you see your brother? Socrates told me that your Brother will come tonight" Mirabel said to Cassandra.

Cassandra just boredly look at her mother as she shrugged her shoulder.

" Nope. I didn't see that guy " Cassandra casually answered her mother.

" Fix your mouth and behaviour Cassandra. " Mirabel immediately said to her daughter as she give her a pinch on her waist.

" Don't let your good reputation ruined!" Mirabel whispered.

" Sorry Mother" Cassandra hopelessly said while rubbing her waist which her mother pinch.

CINDY is just watching the two of her hated person in the world. It seems like they are enjoying each time together.

" What a good view to ruin" Cindy said as she sip wine to her glass.

" The wine in this mansion is not that good anymore" Cindy boredly said as she put down her glass over the table at the side of vase.

" Should I greeted the star of the night?" Cindy ask to herself as she put her index finger under chin. Thinking a bad plan to ruin the day of these two people.

" I guess showing myself is the best idea to sour their mood" Cindy playfully said as she step out from the shadow and walk confidently towards her step-sister and step-mother.

" Congratulations for you engagement to my ex-fiance Cassandra " Cindy loudly said that's enough to hear it by the people surrounding them.

" I wish of luck" Cindy said as she give her step-sister a kiss on her cheeks.

" And to my favorite step-mother. Congratulations!" Cindy sarcastically said as she give her a kiss on her cheeks.

" T-thank you! Cindy" Her step-mother stuttered as she try to smile in front of Cindy.

" Your welcome step-mom. By the way Where's Father? I thought he is already here? After all it's an engagement party for her favorite step-daughter " Cindy said out sarcasm as she smiled on the other guest.

" It's nice to get back Mirabel" Cindy simply whispered to the ear of her step-mother before she walk away from them.

" What a b*tch!" Cassandra hissed as she looks at her mother who is now shaking because of anger that she is feeling towards Cindy.

" Mommy, Calm down. We don't want out plan go to waste" Cassandra said to her mother.

" So, Please calm down. Mommy"

A VICTORIOUS smile was flastered to Cindy lips right now. She really like to see her step-mother face turned into white and then red. It's give her a different joy and satisfaction.

" Excuse me Miss" Herriot excuse as she leaned close to Cindy and whispered about the information that she ask from Herriot earlier. After she gives the information to Cindy. Herriot quickly move away from her.

" What a nice information about him" Cindy said as her eyes landed at Giovanni who is now professionally talking to their guests.

" Let's use it towards him"
