LAURA'S POV

I was dumbfounded and had to shake my head vehemently to be sure I wasn't the one dreaming but then that didn't work one bit. I had to pinch myself and yes, this worked just well because I felt the pain on my skin.

"What's the problem? Why do you look as if you've seen a Ghost?" Alpha Jordan whose hand was locked in mine asked with a worried voice though he managed to keep a straight face. It was surprising.

"Isn't that Katherine?" I asked with a frown forming slowly on my face. It felt so bizarre that I had to clench my hand into a fist to be able to get myself to calm down.

"Yes she is. Why do you ask? Is anything the problem?" He asked in a low and calm voice. I wanted to say exactly what was on mind but then I had no idea how he was going to react to it. He could get angry and that was the last thing I wanted from him at that moment.

"Oh, it's nothing. I was just thinking of something, that's all…" I lied as I adjusted myself, making sure to look as stunning as astonis
