ALPHA JORDAN'S POV
From where I stood, I could see the outline of the person seated outside and though, I couldn't help but wonder what could keep a lady outside by this time of the night, my heart continued to race against my chest I began to feel like it was going bro explode any time soon but then I knew it was only how I felt. There was no way my chest could explode from my heart. The nearer I got towards her, the clearer it all became. It was Katherine. "Why would she be out here by this time?" I wondered with my eyes darting around with reckless abandon. I was worried for her. The kind of breeze that was blowing through was enough to send one to an early grave.. Even with all my toughness and agility, it still took all the Willpower I could gather to keep me out there. I couldn't sleep and neither could I get the urge to stay indoors, hence the reason I was still outside by that time. I got to where she was and saw her staring right at me.ALPHA JORDAN'S POINT OF VIEWIt was glaring what Laura was trying to do. Oh, her games were distinct and I must say she was a master at it. How quickly she had managed to plunge me into a state of dilemma. My eyes traveled around, and were greeted by the gaze of over an hundred werewolves who had gathered around. Katherine was there, tears in her eyes. She appeared desolate and was a shadow of herself.I still doubted that she was the one who stole Laura's jewelry, but then she was silent and silence the say is.. Wisdom is profitable to direct and on this path, I must tread carefully. I exhaled and cleared my throat. Silence filled the air as they awaited my words.“Katherine! You still haven't said anything to what Laura, and these men said? Did you steal the Jewelries?”Laura frowned and moved towards me. “Do you expect her to admit to stealing it? The men she sent already did. What else do you want as evidence?”I tu
KATHERINE'S POINT OF VIEWIt made no sense to me and neither could I comprehend where was going on. It felt like I was dreaming but then, a dream would never be as realistic as that was The slaps that landed on my face told me exactly what I knew already. I was pissed to the marrow and every path of me wanted to attack Laura for the effontry she had to lay her filthy hands on me. Her saving grace were those soldiers who held me back.I gasped at her words and more so when she called me a thief. How dare she open her gutter mouth to call me that. We both knew if there were any thief alomtst is then she definitely would be the one.I scoffed, parted my lips and fired words at her. I wasn't going to sit back and let her throw words at me. Never! It wasn't going to happen, not in this life nor in the next. If the Alpha wasn't going to fight for me then I was going to fight for myself.A few hangers with her rjf then the alpha arrived.
NINA'S POINT OF VIEWI stared at the stranger who still had that smirk on her face. It had not for once occured to me that the Alpha and I looked good together.“I have to take my leave now,” I muttered sgd scurried off as quickly as I could with my hands clasped to my side. My heart was thumping heavily against my chest such that one would think I had just completed a marathon if they happened to see me.By the time I got to the room, I saw Katherine smiling. Strange, but not strange. For someone who had been pissed to the marrow when I stepped out, I was sure the Alpha must have done something that really pleased her.I locked the door behind me and sat beside her on the bed. “Tell me, how did it go? What did he say?”She rolled her eyes, a bright smile adorning her face. “Well, he didn't say anything except apologizing for what happened and then he promised to make it up to me later on.”I was thrilled and once again, curiosit
LAURA’S POINT OF VIEW "How could you not get it ? " I have always Known you weren't intelligent but I never knew you were daft," I said to her in a loud and fierce voice and watched her countenance turn sour. She pouted her lips and glared hard at me Like there was nothing she could do about it."You never told it to me, so how did you expect me to be aware?" She asked, her lips pouted awkwardly. I eyed her and then hissed. She seemed rather interested and couldn't hide her excitement. she grinned, revealing her dentures and then moved closer to me. "So what's the neat Line of action ? I'm dying to know it?""Well, a little fun with her wouldn't hurt, would it? I'm sure with this plan of mine, the relationship between herself and Jordan would be strained…""Are you sure this plan of yours is going to work? The Alpha seems so un lobs with her and I'm not sure there's anything that would be able to change how he feel towards her.
NINA'S POINT OF VIEWSeeing what happened to Katherine, I rushed to where she was and tried to help her. Lisa, the Luna's sister stood there transfixed to a spot. She eyed me vehemently as I tried to help Katherine. I could feel her anger all over me but it was unimportant. "What have you done to her?" I yelled, staring at her in disdain. I clenched my hands into fists and was going to bury it in her face but managed to keep myself in check. She rolled her eyes and hissed like she was a snake on the loose."Who do you think you are to speak to me? If you don't remain in your place, I'll treat you worse than I treated Katherine, got it?" She threatened and moved closer to me.I retreated a bit but didn't give up. Katherine finally regained herself and it happened that the Luna walked in at the same moment. She wore a thick frown on her face as she tried processing what had happened. A few words did she say to her sister before
LAURA'S POINT OF VIEW "Listen to me, Laura. Listen.." Alpha Jordan called after me as I went but I didn't stop and neither did I care. I was pissed to the marrow and wanted to strangle that good for nothing called Katherine. I got to my chambers and was going to shut the door behind me but he stopped in and went in with me. "What's that attitude you displayed back there?" He snapped with bloodshot eyes. My breath was staggered and I was struggling to keep my emotions in check. "I should be asking that of you and not the other way around. How could you do that to me?" He sneered, moving closer to me. "So you think creating a scene would help matters? I have told you exactly how I feel and it is left to you to believe. I am in love with Katherine and there is nothing you can do about." His words pierced through my heart and left me in pains. "No, that's not possible. You cannot love Katherine. It is m
KATHERINE'S POINT OF VIEWNina's words touched me and aroused a feeling of guilt in me. How could I bring myself to tell her I wanted more than just seeing the Alpha? How could I tell her I wanted the Alpha for myself and was now ready to make him mine.I rolled my eyes and ogled at her, "And when did the Alpha become random? We're speaking of the Alpha here and I think I should look my best.." She stared at me and didn't seem convinced with my Words. She shrugged and smiled, "The blue dress. That should fit perfectly.""Tada! That was exactly what I had in mind.." I reached for the dress and ran my hands through it. It was silky and quite soft against my hand.I quickly took my towel off and then wore the dress over my body that was still wet from the shower. My feet found their way to the mirror a few paces away. Perhaps, they understood the need for me to look perfect and stunning. Not quite satisfied, I moved my attention t
KATHERINE'S POINT OF VIEWI was still jesting with Nina who was becoming better and stronger with each hour that went by and I loved it. The smile on her face gave me so much joy and satisfaction. It was beautiful to see she was quickly becoming herself again."Thank you," she said taking me off guard. I was confused and had no idea what she was thanking me for. She had suddenly become serious and stern."I have no idea what you are thanking me for but you Shouldn't be doing it. It's only going to make me feel awkward and that's the last thing that I want."She smiled but said no words. I sprung to my feet, a bit irritated and then walked around the room. Nina wore a sorry expression and appeared quite displeased."I'm sorry Katherine, I didn't mean to upset you. I just wanted to show my gratitude to you and nothing more," she muttered, tears gathering in her eyes. Her words and the look on her face got me and I couldn't r
ALPHA JORDAN'S POINT OF VIEW There was mixed feeling within me and I didn't know how to react or what to do. The way Katherine spoke to me didn't give me the hope I wanted so much.I was seated in the chambers that was open to only important guests when my beta walked in and was looking all worried. He looked as if he had something important he wanted to talk about but the moment he saw the look on my face, he kept mute."Good afternoon Alpha Jordan," he greeted, bowing to me. I raised his head to me and nodded a bit. "What brings you here? Do you have something important to discuss about?" I asked in a cold voice that took him aback. His eyes flickered incessantly as he thought of what to say to him. He shook his head vehemently and then parted his lips to speak. "It's only a tiny matter that bring me here. I have come bearing the word of the chiefs."My brows furrowed as I listened to those of his. "The words of the chie
