Demi's pov

Before I got to Anya, she was already on her feet which was expected as she was once the head warrior and was trained to be prepared for anything. She was armed with a sword as well and I had nothing but my resurfacing powers.

I gave myself that small pep talk before launching myself onto her and falling her to the ground with my full weight.

"Bitch!" She growled, moving for her sword, I placed my hand on it, withdrew it, and flung it to the side leaving us both to combat with our fists, "Scared I would strike you down with it?"
