CHAPTER 14 - Easy, Baby

With her breath faltering in every speeding move of the ship, Andreitte, with weak knees sit on the bed. She let her tears flow down her cheeks. Aside from fear, she feels so alone now. She feels betrayed by her own parents, who valued more the sack of gold and prestige in lieu of her own happiness and dreams, although she could not find anger in her heart for them. They have reared her well and she could not complain as to how they treated her while growing up. They were attentive to her needs and she was loved by them, in the best possible way that they know.

When she hears footsteps coming nearer to her cabin, Andreitte quickly wipes her tears and changes the expression on her face. She plastered a fierce look. She does not want anybody from the group of the Alpha King to know what she feels. She should not be afraid. She is Andreitte, the Zeta she-wolf, who vowed to never back down to fight for her freedom and happiness, no matter what it takes.
