Harriet's POV

Michael had surprised me when he had told me to go meet the man I love and also by telling me I'm his favorite student.

I didn't know I held any special place in Michael's heart. I had thought he just looked at me as an ordinary girl.

I also didn't expect that he would tell me to leave him alone and go meet another man. Not that I thought he had feelings for me but then he is my teacher who had sacrificed years of his life for me, he should have compelled me to stay until he is fully recovered.

What Michael did made me respect him the most. I lay in my bed thinking about this and also about Tyler.
