Chapter 2: NEW BEGINNING CALL FOR A NEW LIFE

Crystal's pov

Ever since I leftt my previous pack, life has been great. On my way to my Arizona, I finally saw the world beyond the pack's walls. It took me a couple days to reach Arizona but I made it and found a very shocked and angry aunt. But after I explained everything to her, she was totally cool and not shocked that my dad (aka her elder brother), did that. She says it was one of the reasons she left the pack apart from finding her mate of course. Who I must say is like the coolest person I have ever met.

He is the "royal family's" private doctor which consists of the Alpha, Luna, their kids, beta and gamma. So he only works when he is needed. He spends most of his time studying or with my aunt. They have a son though and you guessed it right, his older than me by only 3 years. Not much of a difference so we practically are the same age, right? By the way my aunt's name is Jessica but she prefers being called Jessi, yeah even I'm not allowed to call her aunt.

1 week later after arriving

At dinner

"Crystal honey, get down here it's dinner time!" My life at my aunt's place was getting kinda too comfortable. I wasn't allowed to work or cook..... or anything.

"Hey, smells good." I took in a deep breath, just to actually get the aroma of the food. My aunt was the best cook ever to walk the earth.

I take my sit and start eating but can't help notice Jessi and Brandon (that's her husband), staring at me. "Umm... guys, is there anything wrong? Why do you keep staring at me?" Then Brandon goes like, "We've been thinking, how would you like to finish high School. Just the last term of course. We remember you telling us about your dad pulling you out of school because of the whole gamma issue."

I just looked at them with the 'why didn't you ask me earlier' expression. "Yes please, atleast I should enjoy high school before I turn 19. Thanks, that would be awesome." Jessi gives me a huge smile before touching my cheek, "you are most welcome. By the way, you start tomorrow." And just like that, she said it as if I was ready for it. "You can just use my previous text books and mum already bought you books and all the other stuff that you would need. So don't sweat it." Greg just  continued eating after saying that. "Ok, but what about clothes and shoes and...." "we already got that all figured out okay, just finish eating, go to your room. You'll find shopping bags, arrange everything and take a nap. I'll take you to your school tomorrow, ok?"

I look her and smile, "okay."

Next morning

I wake up to someone shouting in my face telling me to wake up. I just push the person's face away and cover my head with the blanket.

"Leave me alone, I'm trying to sleep here." I groan while turning away.

"Mum said wake up and get ready for school or you going to be late.''

And with those few words I jolted up and ran straight to the bathroom leaving a laughing Greg behind.

I quickly showered and got dressed in a pair of black jeans, white crop top and a pair of white sneakers. I tie a black checked shirt around my waist and finish up my look with a ponytail and some black mascara and glow gloss. Then quickly get my bag and run downstairs. Everyone is there except for Greg.

"Morning guys." I start eating the pancakes on my plate. "Morning sweetheart, how did you sleep." "Great." I get up and ask where Greg is and they tell me his outside waiting for me. I say bye and head for the door. And there he is leaning on the side of the car looking hot. Did I mention my cousin is like stupid hot. Too bad his my cousin.

He was standing with some cute guy talking, but he didn't realise I was there until I reached them. He scanned me for a while and realised what he was doing then looked away, but his friend kept checking me out.

Snapping my fingers in front of his face, "you got googly eyes or something?" "What?" "Your eyes kept going up and down then side to side, so I was wondering if you had them." "No I don't."

Greg started chuckling but hid it with a cough.

"Well then I suggest you stop googling me if you know what's good for you, in fact I'm gonna be nice enough to let you take a picture so that it lasts longer. But you should know I won't pose for it. Greg let's go I'm already late." I enter the car and hear Greg laughing at the shocked guy.

"Greg, who's the chick?"" Xander meet my cousin Crystal. Crystal this is Xander the gamma to be of the pack around here." "That's right princess, that means you should respect me"

"Actually man, she is also a gamma to be for her pack."

I just looked at his shocked and confused face. "Greg let's go."

He got into the car but so did Xander. On our way there he kept asking questions about why I am here instead of being at my pack, but Greg realised I was this close to tearing off Xander's head. So he just changed the topic.

Once we reached I was so happy to be out of the car, but that happiness faded when he called my name, "what Xander?" It wasn't a complete turn but my face was facing him. That's when he took a picture of me, " you actually did pose for the picture" he laughed and told Greg to drive away. I swear the next time I see him I'll give a beating he'll never forget.

Let us just hope we never meet again, cause....anyway, it's my first day so I'll behave.
