"Please," I begged, my voice barely a whisper. "Just give me one chance. One chance to be in your life and prove myself to you. To show you that you are not and never were a bastard—you're my daughter, my precious, perfect daughter, and I love you more than life itself." I said, pouring all my hope and desperation into my last words.
