Melissa came home, her strength sapped from her. Somehow she hadn't mentally prepared herself to meet Victoria and it felt bad.

This was the reason she had not many friends. To her they were nothing but those that snatched the good things from you.

She palm faced herself and squatted down and in minutes she was in tears.
