“Cain isn’t just a businessman,” Roy whispered, seating across Bryan in his limo. “He runs an underground drug chain. He’s like a mafia don.”

He gulped from the water bottle Bryan had tossed at him.

“Oh, I know.” Bryan replied expressionlessly, while his eyes roved over the newspaper opened on his crossed legs, “That’s why I refused to do business with him. What I want to know is what business you have with him.”

“I have nothing to do with him!” Roy squealed in a high-pitched voice, flushing when carpalia who was driving cleared his throat, “Could you bring up the divider?”

Bryan glanced up at him for a second before leaning over in his seat and pressing a button that brought up the soundproofed glass that divided the back compartment from the front.
