Erran

Max helped me out of the car and had me settled in my wheelchair as I looked around in total awe.

The house was insanely huge and beautiful, floor to ceiling glass windows, marble steps, flickering lanterns embedded into the walls.

I had only seen places like this on TV celebrity documentaries and royal tours. It looked like the kind of place a prince lived or a god.

"This is your home?" I asked out loud

"Yes and it will be your home too from now on."

"Who are you?"

"I am Max Black and that's all you need to know, you will be safe here and have access to whatever you need, your only job is to make sure that child you are carrying is safe."

I was about to start wheeling my wheelchair when something moved in my peripheral vision fast but it spooked me and I turned my head slowly, it looked like a dog, but when I looked clearer, my whole body froze.

Two huge wolves were racing across the yard, large, sleek, and silent. One grey with piercing silver eyes and the other was pure black, like it was carved from night, I had watched enough werewolf movies to know they weren’t pets. They were predators, I had read the stories and the myths about werewolves still living in New York city but I always thought they were just stories, cautionary tales at best.

But now I was sitting a few feet from actual werewolves, my entire body froze, I tried to speak but nothing came out instead it wa just my hands and fingers pointing at them, then they changed direction and started running towards us.

I let out a scream and instinctively grabbed onto Max’s arm, my fingers digging into his suit jacket, into the hard muscle underneath.

“They are coming this way!” I cried, trembling, "Please don't let me die, please help." I yelled, clinging onto his arm, totally terrified.

But Max didn’t move, he didn’t even blink, he didn’t so much as breathe differently.

“What are you, are you not seeing this?” I shrieked, trying to back away, but Max just stood there, steady and calm as stone maybe I was really losing it if he did not see them

Then it happened right in front of my eyes, just a feet from us, the two wolves shifted into fully humans, their bodies, rippled bones snapping, skin twisting, fur shrinking and within seconds, they were in human form just like Max and I completely naked standing in front of us.

One of the men, tall, dark skinned, muscular with tribal markings across his chest bowed slightly.

“Alpha,” he said and the other pale, leaner, with dark hair to his jaw echoed it.

“Alpha.”

Alpha? I repeated myself slowly, What the hell was this? Then I saw max Max give them a single nod.

What on earth was going on here? Was I dreaming? I asked myself, confused.

"The perimeter is secure." One of the men said to Max and he nodded again and they started walking away and I immediately let go of my hand from Max's grip.

"I don't want to be here, please take me back to the hospital." i managed to say, he looked down at me, his face expressionless them picked me up into his arms like I weighed nothing and started walking into the entrance of the house, I tried to kick and scream but it really did nothing, I was a 4'11 woman and he was over six feet tall and his body muscular

"The sooner you stop fighting me on this Erran the better for you, I own you now."

MaxI closed the door behind me and stood in the hallway for a moment, my hand remained on the handle, I could still hear Erran's voice in my head. How long have you been watching me?She had every right to demand answers and yet, I couldn't give them to her, not yet. There were too many things she didn't understand about my world, and some truths were dangerous even for a human to know.I started walking down the hallway, my expression hardening as I approached the private wing of the mansion. The moment I entered my study, I found Damien waiting for me.My Beta was standing beside the windows, his arms folded across his chest. He turned the moment I entered.“Does she know?”I removed my jacket and dropped it onto the back of the chair.“She knows enough.”Damien's expression didn't change.“No, Alpha. She knows nothing.”I looked at him.“That isn't your concern.”“It becomes my concern when our future Luna is walking around this house believing she's a prisoner.”My jaw tightened

MaxI carried her through the house without saying another word, she had stopped fighting me not because she had accepted what was happening but because she was in shock.I could feel the tension running through her small body, every muscle rigid against mine. Her breathing was uneven, and her fingers were curled tightly against my jacket.I knew I had frightened her but I also knew there was no way around it.She needed to understand that this was no longer a simple human pregnancy, the child she carried belonged to my bloodline, my heir and whether Erran understood it yet or not, her life had changed the moment that child was conceived.I carried her directly upstairs. The hallway was quiet, the only sounds coming from my footsteps against the polished marble floor and her uneven breathing.I pushed open the door to the room I had prepared for her, It was one of the largest guest suites in the house, I wanted her to be comfortable and have access to whatever she needed and enough sp

Erran"That's no choice really, I should have a choice in this, it's my body too and my baby and I don't even know if I am keeping it." I said, trying to hold back the tears, everything was moving way too fast one moment I was getting ready to marry the love of my life the next I was being thrown out and now I was pregnant and someone I had just made was already threatening me. "My sister is the reason I am in this situation in the first place, she did this to me, I didn't want this, I don't want any of this, I have never even had sex before, this is all crazy." I continued in tears." How sure are you that I am even going to keep the baby, it's still early I could make another choice that won't have me marrying a strange man I just met. ""I am sorry, but you can't do that Erran. This is my only chance of becoming a father, giving my family an heir. "he said it like I was supposed to care about him. "That's not really any of my business, in fact I should be suing for violation, this
