LOGINAmelia's p.o.v
The men stepped away from Merbal with smirks and approached me slowly.
I was about to stand up and run to the door when I was grabbed by the leg and pushed down on the ground. I winced in pain as one of the men hovered on top of me, while two of his friends grabbed each side of my hand to stop me from fighting back.
I was screaming and calling out to my mate who was standing still, looking down at me unaffected, his expression was colder than it was a few minutes ago. I couldn't believe that he really was the man I had been waiting for all my life. Something was terribly wrong with him.
What happened to male mate's hating other men looking at their females?. What happened to mates being possessive and loving. The fucking bastard in front of me was neither of those things.
"Let's toy with her a bit before diving in." The man on top of me said seriously then leaned in and kissed my neck roughly, his tongue making me nauseous.
I was disgusted by him and myself as well. If I wasn't born as an Omega or a woman, they wouldn't be doing such awful things to me.
The man shifted a bit and leaned in to kiss my lower lip.
I knew what I was about to do was a death wish, but I wasn't going to let trash like him be the first to kiss or fuck me. I angrily bite his upper lip hard.
I ignored the taste of blood that poured in my mouth and bit harder.
The man pulled back with a loud growl. I was about to look up when a hard punch across my face made me dizzy. My hearing slowly began to dim and all I could hear was my wolf's loud whimpers.
I blinked a few times to clear my vision but I was getting more dizzy. My breath was labored and my head aching so very badly. It's as if It was being ripped in two.
A large hand touched my cheek gently, immediately the pain subsided and when the beautiful tingles erupted again throughout my body, I knew who it was, but I couldn't understand why he was touching me.
I slowly leaned into the warmth of the hand as I closed my eyes.
I didn't care anymore what he would do to me.
I had no strength to fight any man off and my mate was a heartless bastard who didn't give a shit.
As my breath slowly stabilized I could hear loud whimpers and cries.
Whoever it was. They sounded like they were in pain.
The hand on my cheek dropped and the warmth disappeared. I forced my eyes open and looked at the figure in front of me.
My mate stood with his back towards me, his shoulders were slightly rising and falling and his hands were covered in blood.
In front of him, on the ground was the warrior's body who had hit me. He was covered in blood, and large claw marks showed on most of his naked body. His breathing was very low and he was struggling.
The two other warriors stood a bit further away looking at the alpha in horror.
One had a few claw marks on his cheek and the other was trying to stand straight but he couldn't. His leg looked injured.
"I permitted you to fuck her, but you disobeyed my words by hitting her and that does piss me off a lot. This slut is to serve my wife as a slave, she can't be having bruises and scars on her body. What I offer my woman should be perfect like she is." He spat in a loud threatening growl.
Tears filled my eyes as his words slowly sunk in.
He didn't hit the warrior nor stop him for my sake, but because I was a toy about to be given to his beloved wife.
"We are sorry alpha. Please forgive us." The warrior who couldn't stand straight said in a respectful tone.
"Get this trash from the ground and get the fuck out of my face." He ordered.
The two men quickly moved and grabbed the injured man from the ground then rushed out of the room with him.
The alpha sighed then looked at Marble who quickly faced the other side.
When he looked at me I too quickly lowered my gaze.
We both feared the man in front of us. He wasn't like any high rank we had come across.
In these past minutes, I understood a few things about him.
First, he had a very bad temper. Whatever command or demand he gave out, it was supposed to be taken seriously. No one was allowed to go against his words unless they were desperate for death.
Secondly, he cared for no one. An alpha who could hurt his own men and mate meant he only cared for himself.
He had no pity or Mercy. When injuring someone he seemed unfazed. It's like he enjoyed inflicting pain on others.
And lastly. He was a psycho. A bastard who was crazy and complicated.
I couldn't understand why he was doing this?. Deep down in my heart, I wished to have nothing to do with him, but then again, he was my mate.
He walked to the couch opposite the table and stood a meter away from it.
"You." He called loudly.
Merbal and I quickly turned to face him.
"Me?" Merbal asked huskily.
"Blow me." He demanded as moved his hands to his trousers and pulled down the zip.
My world there and then seemed to stop.
Everything that happened was like a false implantation of a horrible nightmare.
I watched in tears as Merbal moved and crawled to where he was. She moved her hands and unbuckled his belt slowly.
She pulled down the trousers and she was about to touch his boxer when I growled at her loudly getting both their attention.
My wolf and I weren't having it. If he didn't want me then he was free to reject me, but as long as he wasn't ready to reject me, I wasn't going to let him be with another woman besides me. Wife or not.
Levi’s POVThis was what being proud felt like. The sun had dipped low, and the pack had finally called it a day. But the warriors were still whispering about the kiss they’d witnessed earlier. Their voices filled the pack's mind-link, and I could still feel their stares long after Daisy and I walked away — her hand tangled with mine, her laughter soft and easy.Everything she’d done that day had been deliberate, every move sharp and sure. I’d seen her fierce before and cold. But when she stood there defending me... she was beyond sexy. She was fire. When we walked into my house, I couldn’t help but laugh softly.“What?” she asked, smiling.I moved in front of her without a word and pulled the ribbon from her hair. Her hair spilled down like silk, making me hold my breath for a second.“What?” she asked again, this time softer, almost shy.I brushed my fingers through her hair and brought a strand to my nose, inhaling gently with a smile. I couldn’t help but want to kiss her skin and
Daisy’s POV“Pull that up—yes, a little higher,” I said with a smile, watching the warriors lift the long wooden pole into place. It had been a few weeks since the talk I had with Mom about the alliance. I’d apologized to her later that same night, and she was back to her usual warm self by the next morning. Since then, I’d been doing my best to stay on her good side and focus on the pack.I’d started spending more time with the warriors and omegas, getting to know their routines and helping wherever I could. Levi said it was important that the pack saw me as more than just their Alpha by title. He mentioned how they had to feel that I was one of them. And honestly, he was right. He had also been patient with me, showing me the healing herbs he used on the elders and teaching me their names. I didn’t think I’d ever find joy in something so simple, but I did. Every time he explained a plant or corrected the way I held a leaf, I found myself wanting to learn more and wan
Levi’s POVAs I ate, I couldn’t help but steal a few glances at Daisy. The way she smiled softly as she chewed her food made her look content — and for a moment, I forgot I was sitting across from the Luna herself, in the pack house dining room, eating breakfast like it was the most normal thing in the world. It wasn’t normal for me. I’d never shared a meal with her before, and the weight of her presence was heavy on my shoulders. Every time I reached for my cup, I made sure not to spill or make any sound. I didn’t want to eat too fast, and I did not want to seem nervous. I also didn’t want to show that I disliked the tea bag used for the brew. It was strong and bitter, but I swallowed it anyway. Then, out of nowhere, the Luna spoke.“Daisy.”“Yes, Mom,” Daisy replied, glancing up briefly before taking another bite of her bread.“What are your plans when I leave this pack?” The Luna’s tone was calm, but her eyes were uneasy. “To put it simply, what are your future and current plans fo
Debby’s POVI walked back and forth at the bottom of the stairs in the pack house, trying to stay calm. I already knew she hadn’t slept here — I checked around midnight, thinking maybe she had simply forgotten to say goodnight or had fallen asleep exhausted. But her bed was untouched, and the room was empty. If we were in human territory, I would’ve panicked and probably alerted the police or called all her friends that Cassidy knew by now, but here… we were inside the pack borders. If anything bad had happened, I would have known immediately. Bad news travels fast in a pack, be it through the pack's mind-link or not. Still, the worry sat heavy in my chest.“Morning, Luna,” a soft voice called behind me.I turned slowly. One of the younger she-wolves was standing there with her head bowed, her hands clasped nervously.“Morning,” I answered, forcing a small smile. “You’re here early.”“I came to prepare breakfast,” she said with a gentle smile.“Right… of course. Please go ahead.” I no
Daisy’s POVThe drive back to the pack was quiet yet peaceful in a way that filled me with joy. The wind had calmed, and all I could hear was the hum of the car engine and Levi’s soft breathing beside me. I felt… content. My heart was still fluttering from everything we’d done — the rooftop, the view, the way the sunset painted everything gold. I couldn’t stop thinking about how proud I felt for actually facing my fear of heights. Being up there, above everything, watching the sun melt into the trees — it was magical. We’d talked about silly things, laughed over small jokes, and shared stories about herbs, pack life, and the strange way our pack members sometimes acted around us. I didn’t want it to end. Part of me wished we could’ve stayed out longer — maybe until the stars faded into dawn. But knowing my mother, she’d probably send half the pack to search for me if I didn’t show up soon.“We’re here,” Levi said softly, pulling me out of my thoughts.I looked up and saw the familiar
Levi’s POVI drove with a quiet smile tugging at my lips while I stole glances at Daisy every now and then. Seeing her lift her hand into the air, her hair flowing behind her as the wind touched her face, made me so relieved that I’d taken my open car. The sun was setting, and the air was cool. Her eyes were closed, and she looked at peace. Comfortable. Perfect and happy.I refused to take her to that place in our pack for a phone signal because I knew the risk. What if it triggered something — a memory, a voice, a single flash that would bring everything back? The Daisy sitting beside me was the mate I had waited for. She didn’t look at me as the pack’s healer or the quiet guy everyone pitied. She saw me. The real me. And for once, she didn’t want to change a damn thing about it. That alone was more than I’d ever dreamed of.When she opened her eyes and caught me staring, I couldn’t help but smile back. She smiled widely before raising both hands into the air, letting out a carefree
