Chapter 68

Garren's POV:

I looked at my bloody hands, then at the small group trembling in front of me. A few dead bodies lay next to them, and the guards stood at the far end, avoiding my gaze.

It wasn't my intention to take it this far, but they pushed me to do it. The letter they received was a clear call and warning. Some came willingly, while others played stubborn. I had to go into their mansion and personally retrieve them, or at least their dead bodies, to set an example.

As news spread, they all came in fear, and the guards knew better than to try and stand against me. Having witnessed the downfall of the coven, they were well aware of what Roman could do.

"I'm sure you all know why I called you here," I said lazily, then crossed my legs on the golden chair.

"No...we have no idea," a female answered in a low, cracked voice.
