Kyle's POV:

"Are you ready to take over as Alpha of the pack with the training you acquired here, or do you prefer to go to the Alpha training camp, which is held every five years?" my father asked.

I kept quiet, thinking about what would be beneficial to me.

"If I decide to go to the camp, will I go there alone?" I asked curiously.

"No, Larson will have to go too. He is your Beta," he answered as I averted my gaze from him.

He knew that I would choose the camp; that's why he even brought up the topic. It was obvious how he wanted me to work out everything with that bastard.

"Father, why are you trying to force me to reconcile with that bastard?" I asked seriously.

"Because he is your cousin and Beta. He will forever be your right hand, so you need to work things out. How do you expect the pack to thrive more in the future when you two never get along?" he asked.
