Chapter 1
Ivy and Marco were entwined, lost in the depths of their passion. Their bodies moved with a synchronized rhythm, their connection intense and electrifying. As they caught their breath, while laying breathlessly on the bed, Ivy gazed into Marco's eyes with anticipation.
"Is there something troubling you, my love?" Marco questioned, running his fingers through her hair. Ivy shut her eyes, allowing the pleasure to flow through her and she sighed before opening them.
She chewed on her bottom lip, unsure of how to bring up what was bothering her.
"Hey," Marco called softly, placing his palm on her right cheek and rubbing it lightly. "You can talk to me. What is it?"
"When will you tell the pack that I am your mate?" she asked, her voice tinged with vulnerability.
“I—” Marco caressed her cheek, the touch emanating warmth and affection, breaking her resolve.
He sighed, then turned to face her. "Soon, my love," he assured her, his voice resonating with sincerity. "I want to ensure the right time and circumstance to reveal our bond. I will protect you, always."
Ivy smiled, her heart fluttering with the promise of a future together. She trusted him, placing her faith in their connection. However, fate had different plans, for loyalty often veils itself in deceit, and trust can be shattered in an instant.
As they basked in the afterglow of their love, Marco's gaze lingered upon Ivy's body. An intimate moment tinged with adoration and curiosity unfurled, as his eyes traced the contours of her form. A playful smile danced on his lips, provoking a blush upon her cheeks.
"Come on Marco, we just…”
"I can't seem to get enough of you and you know that!"
"Just One more."
Ivy couldn't help but laugh at his childish antics. Marco's eyes twinkled mischievously, filled with a playful glimmer as he leaned in, his lips meeting hers in a sweet, tender kiss. Time seemed to stand still as their connection deepened with each passing second, enclosing them in a world where only their love existed.
Marco drew closer and kissed her. They moved closer to each other, savoring the softness and tenderness of their kiss. Their connection deepened with each passing second, consuming them completely. As their bodies drew nearer, he wrapped his arms around her, holding her close, while their tongues entwined in a dance of affection.
Their passionate exchange seemed to release a flood of emotions they had been harboring for so long. Marco tenderly caressed Ivy's nipple with his lips, teasing it gently and igniting a pleasurable response from her. Ivy couldn't hold back her moans of delight, her eyes shut tight as she surrendered to the sensation. With her hands, she eagerly explored his exposed physique, tracing the contours of his sun-kissed, well-toned back. His body exuded an athletic grace, accentuated by a light dusting of hair. Guiding her hands further, he allowed her to gently stimulate him as he grew in her grasp.
With a shared desire, she guided him between her legs, parting them slowly, and her resulting moan revealed her anticipation. As he slid inside her, their connection intensified, filling them both with intense pleasure.
Marco adjusted his movements, seeking the perfect angle to bring Ivy even more satisfaction. She welcomed him eagerly, opening her legs wider and bending her knees to grant him deeper access.
Time seemed to stand still as they merged their bodies and souls. Every stroke, every inch, he relished the sensation of her velvety walls enveloping him, a testament to their passionate union.
In this moment of intimate connection, Marco felt a profound love for Ivy—an unbreakable bond with the woman who had captured his heart.
As he moved within her, he gazed into her eyes, seeing the depth of their love reflected at him.

The next morning, Ivy woke up alone in the lavish room and somehow Marco's absence stirred a sense of sadness within her. She knew he had duties and she knew Marco wouldn't be able to spend all his time with her especially since he had yet to make it known that they were mates but until then, she was going to bask in the joy she could get from her limited time with him.
Before she could comprehend the situation, the door creaked open, and a group of guards stormed in, their menacing expressions etched on their faces.
Confusion clouded her mind as the chilling gaze of accusation landed on her. Luckily she had put on something before she'd slept.
"I.. I… Is there... What's going on?" Ivy stuttered.
"You can stop with the pretense, thief!” one of the guards yelled, his eyes blazing with anger and hatred as he glared at her.
"Pretense? Thief? I don't understand. What is happening? What's going on?" Ivy's brow was furrowed in confusion. Her heart began to hammer in her chest wondering if she had gotten into any trouble.
As the omega of the pack, and the pack slave, it was her duty to make sure every duty in the pack house was carried out and she made sure of that before she made her way to Marco.
“You will know when you get to the Alpha” the second guard replied with no sense of gentility as he grabbed her hair tugging her half-naked body from the bed.
“Look at her, what a slut!” the other snickered as his eyes began to roam on her body.
Ivy was tugged out of the room and while she tried to resist reaching for the sheet to cover her body, the guard yanked her and began to kick her on her abdomen making Ivy cry out in pain.
She was blinded by tears as they kept on kicking and punching while they dragged her through the hallway. At last, they arrived at the throne hall where the Alpha and the rest of his family members were awaiting.
“How dare you, Omega?!” The Alpha roared and walked up to her. “How dare you steal from me?”
Anika gasped, shock written all over her face. “I knew she wasn't contented with what she had but I never knew that she could steal the blue jade”
Ivy stood frozen, disbelief mingling with fear as she was accused of stealing the king's precious diamond, a jewel of immeasurable value. Panic rippled through her veins, and she urgently sought Marco, hoping for his presence to vouch for her innocence.
Her eyes searched the room, finally landing upon him. But to her dismay, he averted his gaze, avoiding her pleading eyes. "Ma-" She tried to call out but was cut off by the Alpha guard.
“Shut up! You dare to speak when the Alpha is still speaking!”
“I- I didn't do this. I swear I can prove it” she cried out, desperation in her voice. Her eyes sought out Marco begging for his confirmation of her innocence. "Please." She whispered, hoping he would come to her aid.
Marco's silence wounded her deeply. She turned to the Alpha hoping to convince him. "It isn't true. I swear. I was nowhere near here”
Her pleas fell on deaf ears as the Alpha ordered the guards. “Take her to the cell and make sure she's dealt with”
Realizing the gravity of the situation, she was overcome with a sense of helplessness as she was dragged away. Ivy cried hoping that somehow Marco could prove her innocence. That he would stand up for her.
Chapter 2The cold, damp cell seemed to close in on Ivy as she huddled on the narrow bunk. Her trembling hands gripped the edges of the thin, scratchy blanket she had been given. The events of the past few hours weighed heavily on her mind, and she couldn't shake the feeling of betrayal that hung in the air like a thick fog.Her eyes hurt from constantly glancing over at the prison door. "He'll come. He'll definitely come." She whispered to herself over and over again trying to shut down the voice of doubt creeping up in her head. He loved her. He'd said it countless times plus she was his mate and there was no way he would just abandon her like that. But why hasn't he come yet? Is he... "NO!" She said aloud. "He's probably trying to prove my innocence." The sound of footsteps approaching echoed through the walls. Her heart quickened as Marco, his face a mask of indifference, entered the room. "I knew you'd come," she said happily. "So?" She asked, finally looking into his eyes.
Chapter 3Ivy's heart pounded in her chest as her eyes fixated on the scorching hot knife placed menacingly before her. After enduring torment for three long days, she had been trapped within these walls, subjected to relentless torture. The guards, relentless in their pursuit of a confession, taunted her once again. "Are you ready to confess now?" they sneered, their voices laced with malice. Ivy struggled to comprehend why they believed she was the thief who had targeted the king's precious jewels. Defying her weakening voice, she mustered the strength to assert her innocence. "I didn't do it," she whispered, her voice barely audible. The guards' cruel laughter pierced the air. "Still denying? You haven't had enough?"Ivy screamed as the hot knife came in contact with her skin. If she wasn't tied to a chair she would have run off but she couldn't. "Confess to the theft and maybe, just maybe you'll be free." another guard taunted her. Not that they needed her to confess in order
Chapter 4Eyes still locked, Alpha Bruce made his way to the seat that had been reserved for him. Every fiber of his being wanted to take her, to claim her but he had to keep himself under control. "Mate." Leo, his wolf kept screaming, not making things easy for him. "I know. Hush now!" He whispered. Taking a look around him, he was astounded by the inhumane show that was going on but he kept his cool. "Bring them in." The Alpha's voice boomed. One by one, all the female prisoners were brought forth and unfortunately, Ivy was the first to be called forth. "Is there anyone who wishes to claim this... Omega before us?" The Alpha's voice dripped with disgust. Murmurs of excitement filled the hall as the men present began to raise their hands but a sudden silence enveloped them as Alpha Bruce slowly raised his hands. One by one, the other hands dropped. No one dared to go against Alpha Bruce. Not if they valued their life. As the Alpha's gaze settled on Alpha Bruce, a subtle no
Chapter 5“I beg your pardon” Alpha Kevin, Marco's father spurted out in disbelief. It was one thing for Alpha Bruce to be interested in the fortnight ceremony but it was another thing for him to be interested in buying the omega he had spent the night with.Marco’s brow creased in confusion, “why do you want to buy her?” He asked the question that was clouding everyone's mind present. “She’s nothing and doesn’t…”“How much are you willing to sell her to me?” Alpha Bruce asked again, his voice not betraying or giving anything out.Ivy swallowed as she stared at the man she thought was different. Of course, she was just an Omega, she doesn’t deserve to be happy. First, Marco didn’t want to be with her, and her second mate was acting like he didn’t sense the mate bond. The way her heart skipped whenever he was close to her.She swallowed the lump that rose in her throat. He wanted her but as his slave. Isn’t that why he was asking to buy her?“Alpha Bruce just like I have said before, t
Chapter 6Ivy refused to speak. Speaking would only get her in trouble. She would have spit out every single thought that had crept up her mind since she first saw him but instead, she chose to remain silent. She silently took him in. Well, he was a looker if only he could control his anger. She was mad though, mad that he had ignored her until now.“Alpha, we’ve arrived” The door swung open. She didn’t realize that they had gotten to their destination since she was more focused on the man who was her second chance mate, a mate that would have healed the pain she felt inside.Quit it, Ivy. You don’t need mates. You don't need more heartaches. She chided herself. She attempted to drop down from the car when he pulled her back. “There’s something you need to know,”“I don’t think so, I am your slave after all” she spat and quickly jumped out of the car. Bruce let her leave. She might be an omega but she was one hell of a spitfire. He chuckled. He would love the chase. He would love to t
Chapter 7“What’s this news that I’m hearing, Bru?” The door swung open revealing a brunette. Her hair cascaded her moon-shaped face, and her lips coated in red paint, a hint of anger on her face.Alpha Bruce turned, sparing her a quick glance before returning his gaze back to the desk. “What news exactly? You need to be specific” he replied. Cassandra huffed, hating that he wasn’t taking her seriously.“Something about you returning from the Nile Pack with a female. Why would you do that?” She questioned fiercely.“Oh.” He nodded, “she’s my mate, Sandy” Bruce replied. The air was tense and quiet. Cassandra stood rooted to a spot as she let his words dwell in her head.“B- but how?” She splurted. “What would happen to us?”He rose from his seat, shutting the documents in front of him then approached her. “I meant to tell you that I just didn’t know you would return so early.”“So you’re saying that we are…” she let her voice go off. She didn’t want to say it out loud. Saying it out lo
Chapter 8“I’m sorry” Bruce whispered as he held Ivy. She pushed him, not wanting to listen to his excuses. To her, she meant nothing to him and his apology might as well be half-assed.She tried to evade his touch but Bruce pulled her back, her back colliding with his naked chest. Ivy breathed, his scent clouding her senses as she felt her inner moist trembling. Bruce sniffed the air and a smile appeared on his face as her wetness wafted into his nose.“You can feel it just as much as I do, so stop fighting it…”“I don’t…” she cut him off defiantly. She refused to let herself be weakened to his touch but the more resolve she puts in, the more it weakened her.“Really?” He scoffed, swiftly turning her around, his eyes sought hers as they darkened. Her nipples stood erect in the simple silk night dress she had on. He bent his head to hers, slowly breathing her in. “Tell me you don’t like it when I touch you,” he whispered, his fingers trailing slowly on her thighs.“Tell me you don’t w
Chapter 9Bruce sighed. He might have said he loved how strong-headed she was but right now, he felt his blood boiling at her obvious rejection of him. Sue had been moaning his name in her sleep, telling him how much she needed him so why was she still pushing him away?“This is unfair,” he said. He decided getting upset whenever she pushed him away wasn’t going to solve a thing. He calmed his wolf but there was only little he could do, sooner or later his wolf was going to want to lay his claim on their mate.“Unfair?” She scoffed. “You call this unfair?” She asked in disbelief. “There has been nothing unfair to you. I should be the one crying wolf”She slid out of the bed and walked towards the window. “Unfair is when you bought me from a pack. Unfair is ignoring me without acknowledging our bond, unfair is bringing me here and just forgetting me. Unfair is…” She didn’t realize Bruce had walked up to her. He held her hand making the rest of her words lost in the back of her mind.“I
