The date was awesome. Autumn was a great girl, one that made me glad I had finally decided to try dating again. I must admit, we had had a rough patch: she had just gotten out of a weird relationship — I considered it weird since she had been screwing two guys at once — and I was rusty about dating since my one and the only relationship was about three years ago. I had not dated anyone in a while, and, for a moment, I had forgotten how to do it. Yet she made it feel so easy.
The girls I had been with these last three years were those who did not last longer than one or two weeks. Sometimes only one night for the one-night stands. I was so sure I would not get into a relationship anymore, considering my heart was shattered once, and once was more than enough.
