Book 4; Chapter 70-Slow

Jade went back to bed, annoyingly, when Tristan was gone. She knew he was angry because it looked like she had just let Debora belittle and humiliate her. She knew that the young man couldn’t stand her either, so she would let him go for a while.

“Sir, did you forget to bring something to Ms. Jade’s room?” Carlo asked when the man suddenly entered the room.

Without a word, Tristan passed Carlo and went to bed.

Carlo fell silent when he noticed that his boss was not in a good mood. He looked at him again, and in less than a minute, he got up. He seemed restless and lay down again.

“Sir, you shouldn’t keep your attitude to yourself. Don’t let the night go by without you and your girlfriend making up for each other.”

Tristan gasped and stared at Carlo. “You think she loves me too?”

Carlo wanted to laugh at his boss’s question. He seemed gay when he was falling in love with a woman. “Sir, she wouldn’t give herself to you if she didn’t love you.”
