LOGINOscar's POV
The party was over. But she never left my head. Watching her act like everything was alright even after she had just been rejected was weird. I was expecting her to break down into tears and cry. Maybe shout and yell at Brian. But she acted like she didn't care. If one didn't know, they would think she wasn't hurt.
But I saw it in the way her body moved stiffly. In her robotic expression. She was putting on a facade to stop people from pitying and bullying her. Brian was insane, I knew that. But I never expected him to reject his mate in front of so many people. He crushed her innocent spirit.
“Oscar.” I heard my Beta, Jeff, say behind me, and I turned to him with a stoic expression. “I found her. She's drunk and heading back into the mansion.”
I didn't know why I told Jeff to look after her. Maybe because I was worried that she would commit suicide under my roof. Or maybe because it felt like my responsibility to look after her since my son was the only reason she ended up crushed.
She was everything I disliked though. She was too sweet. Too innocent. Too bubbly. And she always wore pink. It was annoying as I hated flashy colors but my principle was that any maid could wear whatever color of dress they wanted. They weren't prisoners so they were allowed to dress how they liked. But she just had to choose pink.
I detested her choices from the very moment I saw her. Because it made me notice her a little more than I wanted. She always stood out no matter where or when. She was so easily noticeable. It irked me. Or so I thought.
I made my way downstairs as I watched her stagger into the mansion. She looked dead-drunk and I couldn't help but shake my head in disbelief. For a girl who never touched alcohol to get drunk, it was evident that she was beyond hurt. I had just turned the corner when she bumped into me before staggering back to get a good view of me.
Pink.
It looked good on her, that was something I couldn't deny. Brian was blind for rejecting her, she was a million times prettier than Melissa.
She staggered forward and backward like she was trying to get her stance and narrowed her eyes at me. Her lips suddenly curled up into a grin that had me raising my brows in surprise.
“Oscar.” She murmured and to my greatest surprise, crashed into me. My eyes widened as her face pressed against my chest and her arms wrapped around me.
“For fuck's sake…” I muttered in annoyance and tried to pry her hands away but she was clingier than a koala.
“Do you want me to take care of her for you?” Jeff appeared from behind me and I turned to him with a slight twitch on the corner of my lips.
“I can handle her myself, Jeff. I'm 45, not 70. I'm stronger and more handsome than you young wolves.” I remarked with a frown, and he rolled his eyes. He was obviously tired of my gloating.
“As the alpha says.” He muttered mockingly. “What are you going to do with her? She's drunk and I'm afraid taking her back to her quarters would cause something we can't avoid.”
“I'll handle it, Jeff. Make sure Brian doesn't do anything stupid tonight. Keep your eyes on him. I'll call for you when I need you.” I replied and he nodded before walking away.
I turned to look at the limp girl in my arms and finally picked her up before walking her to my private room. Taking her to my room would spark rumors, and returning her to her quarters would cause her to be in trouble, so my private room was the only option. No one knew it existed except Jake and me.
My wolf, who had been dormant all these years, stirred just at her presence, and I wondered what connection I had with her. I knew she wasn't my mate, and neither was I hers, but there was something about her. Something that pulled me in. And whatever it was, it was dangerous.
I placed her on the bed and moved to leave when she shot out of bed like she had just had a nightmare.
“Don't leave me!” She muttered, her voice trembling as she reached for the air, her eyes still closed like she was dreaming.
I didn't know why I moved to her. But I did. I took her hand that was outstretched and her eyes finally opened. Her gaze met mine and the hunger that swirled in them had me gulping harshly.
“Oscar…” She muttered as she pushed herself off the bed and leaned toward me. “Help me…”
I should have told Jeff to stop her from getting so drunk. I glanced at her and I could see how much she was sweating even with the air conditioner on. I placed a hand on her forehead and realized that she was burning hot.
“You have a fever?” I mumbled in shock and she immediately shook her head as she pulled me to her.
“I want you. Not a fever. You.” She whimpered, grabbing my shirt lightly and at that moment, realization dawned on me.
“Your first heat?” I asked in surprise and she whimpered in response, moving so that she was sitting on my lap, straddling me.
Fuck, she was supposed to be innocent right? She literally grew up here and I know for a fact that she was naive and a virgin. How could this be happening now?
“Pink, listen to me. You need to try to sleep, alright? You're in your heat—”
“You won't help me?” She cried out, fisting my shirt in her hands. “You're gonna reject me too? You all hate me so much?”
“You're drunk. You'll regret this tomorrow.” I said plainly, trying desperately to ignore the fact that she was grinding against my crotch and my wolf was enjoying every bit of what was going on. He wanted her badly. Just like I did.
But it made no sense. The age gap wasn't something to write home about. I couldn't take advantage of her.
“I want you. Please. Get this uncomfortable feeling out of me.” She begged even more, and when I stayed silent, she moved, pulling her dress over her head, and I froze.
My mouth went dry when she started to massage her breasts and I gulped harshly. How was I supposed to ignore this, right in front of me?
“Are you sure you wanna do this, Pink?” I questioned, my eyes trained on her beautiful, perky boobs. To my surprise, she took my hands and placed them on her breasts to show that she was serious.
She's drunk, Oscar, get it together!
“Please me, Alpha Oscar.” She whispered softly and the last thread of reasoning that I had finally snapped as I turned us over so that she was under me.
“You'd better not regret this tomorrow morning,” I muttered as I leaned down and took her left nipple into my mouth while my other hand flicked over the right.
The moan that left her lips sent all the blood in my body running south.
This was going to be a long night.
Amelia's POV.When we got back to the penthouse, Mateo was already at the door.He must have been waiting. The moment the car pulled up, he was there, his eyes locked on me through the window. The door opened and he was already reaching for me.His eyes scanned my body first, then my face, my arms, my stomach. He didn't say anything until he had looked at every part of me."I'm fine," I said before he could ask.His jaw tightened, but he nodded. He pulled me inside, his hand firm on my arm, guiding me through the entrance.Vale was standing in the hallway with a pale face. She stepped aside as we passed.Mateo turned to Marcus, who had followed us in. The two of them moved away, speaking low and fast. I stayed where I was, my hands still trembling slightly, my body still processing what had just happened.I caught pieces of their conversation."The route was shared internally," Marcus said, his voice tight. "Only a handful of people knew it."Mateo's expression darkened."Who?" he ask
Thallyne's POV “I wonder what led to that speculation.” Luther had a puzzled look on his face but I wasn't going to tell any of them the reason, at least not yet. “I hope you haven't been poisoned once again?” Lucas flicked my forehead playfully. “Ouch, what was that for? No one has done anything crazy since the last time we met.” I rubbed the spot that soon felt really sore. “That's good to know. Since we are not gonna be planning an abduction, I think it's best we return before our absence is discovered since we are like celebrities around here already.” Lucas swore softly under his breath, he was scowling really hard. “It's not that bad,” I shrugged. “Being surrounded by beautiful women, and you and having your pick.” “Whatever, they are not our type. The last thing we need is a new set of Betty in our lives.” “Betty? Who's she?” The name sounded very familiar but I couldn't recall where I must have heard it from. “The psycho that is obsessed with the both of us. It took
[Rosie's POV]I hadn't come out, but being locked in my room after my arrival, I recalled that knock that came in.I should have taken it seriously but I guess I was too busy planning a way to see my kids.Lying on the bed and facing the ceiling, my hands hold up the letter that was left with that knock.I recall that I didn't find anyone at the door, but just a letter that was left for me by my door. Now, my life was dwindling into it, as it's the first thing I found on my bed after Damien dropped me here."I know your secret" it reads."You can hide him, but not for too long," it continues, and then, after much contemplation, I smack my mouth.I guess the person is confused because there are two "him" in the picture. My two boys and not just one?I tossed the letter aside, uninterested in what it meant as I just wanted to be with my boys.I haven't seen Damien either, I guess it's well, I don't know but he's mea
Harry's POVTheir sober look only proves that she's gone. That feeling of her abandoning them again.Aria heaves from where she stood handing the boys over to me like they're my responsibility. They ran towards me, cowering themselves around me and I swallowed.I rubbed their hair smoothly while my gaze drifted back to Aria, who stood poised on her door frame, like one who needed an explanation."Hey boys, go sit in the car," I whispered, handing over the key to Chris, who pulled Colton from his embrace and dragged him mildly to the car.Aria was still there, in that position with a frown on her face and my feet drew closer."Did she tell you where she's off to?""Her lover came picking her up," she replied, looking quite tired.I sighed, taking out a card from my pocket and shoving it into her face. That will settle it, for the boys must have put her through. Her face was still twisted as she snatched it away from me and flipped it left and right."I forgive you," she said, now weari
[Harry's POV]I said nothing as her smile only radiates and leaves me jinxed. I'd want to hold her, if she'd let me.I almost pulled her for an embrace but this happy night would fade away soon if she knew who I was."So how are you doing today, boy?" She asked in a flirty tone, dumping the teddy bears in my hand."Well, happier than ever, now that you're here" I replied, hugging the bears and she pats my shoulder softly."Do you mind me asking how you got out?" I said in a brief smile as my eyes grazed her."Well, let's say I teleported," she said casually, forcing a laugh from me."I want to have that super power of yours"Saying that might seem flirtatious but I meant it in every way.She chuckled and then shook her head before attending to the boys who were leaping all over her."Oh look at you guys" she teases them, grabbing their wrists and flailing their hands. She was walking ahead of me now, with them as they were discussing, while I steadied my steps. My eyes roamed all over
AnelisaHe'd compensate them, mostly those that had their house burnt due to the attack and from the little I got to pick from the speech he made, he promised to make the land safe again.According to him, he and his queen would find a solution to tame the beasts. They cheered him but then he told them not to because they were all mourning today.A chant for victory is all he'd want to hear when he returns.I left there back to the palace, so sober and broken because I didn't for once though of the people that were affected by the attack. But then...what if rhyker was pretending? Of course, he would be just so the people would love him.It was noon already and the knock on my door had me jumping and running to answer it.Usually, I allow him to knock several times but just a knock had me running to him.He flinched, surprised and then cleared his throat. My eyes roamed around his face, his eyes were still re

HAZEL'S POV I ignored Lucas' questions and rushed to Luther's side, hugging him tightly. “I'm sorry I had to leave without telling you guys,” I wasn't expecting him to hug me back but he did. “I was worried that you'll get mad cause I was from a rival pack and the last one I wanted was anyone else

HAZEL'S POV At first I thought it was just a coincidence when I saw Beta Jeff constantly showing up at my work area but then I was sure that it was way more than that when I was always assigned to his office during my free time and those times , he'll just ask me to sit on the chair opposite his w
