Twenty Two

Eva craned her neck, trying to hear what they were talking about. Why had Rosslyn asked to speak with him outside? And why had he agreed? If she told him anything...

"Do you want anything? There's a cafe..."

"Just shut up!" She hissed "I'm trying to listen" why was the room so big? If it had been smaller, the bed might have been closer to the door and she could hear their conversation. Lincoln had left after making sure she was fine and Rosslyn had a flight to catch. The sooner she left, the sooner Eva could feel at ease. She didn't like seeing her there and especially not around Mason.

"I can stand closer to the door and tell you what they're talking about" Sabrina offered.

"No thanks. I just lost my interest" she was trying to make up for that little incident back at their house but Eva wasn't in a forgiving mood. Her dress was ruined and she had been forced to snob Mason because she was in a bad mood. If it wasn't for Sabrina, none of this would have happened.
