Chapter 22 - His Unexpected Visit

Atty. Wilgreg arrived at the Batangas Medical Center after two hours on the road.

Before leaving Manila, Atty. Wilgreg already knew from his driver all his needed information. Thus, upon arrival in the hospital, he knows what floor and what room Atty. Ninia’s mother is being confined.

He then got the food and fruits he bought for Atty. Ninia’s Mom, which were inside his car’s passenger side and then walked directly to the room stated in his driver’s text message.

When he saw room 402, Atty. Wilgreg knocked on its door. It was Atty. Ninia who opened the door.

“Atty. Wilgreg, what are you doing here?” So shocked by their CEO’s presence, Atty. Ninia almost panicked. She did not know what to do first, either to help him with the plastic bags he is carrying or to open the door for him.

“Hey, relax, I am just Wilgreg.” He teased Atty. Ninia when he noticed that she is panicking. He pushed the door by himself, get inside the room and then he put the plastic bag on top of the patient’s beds
