Asher had refused to stand down. He maintained that I had to be a perfect kisser before we went for his family dinner.

We were definitely not going to have to kiss for long seconds.

Why then was it so relevant to him that I became extra good at kissing and reciprocating a kiss?

Over and over, he would kiss me, and ask me to kiss him back or he would ask me to initiate the kiss instead.

I never knew there were even rules to being a good kisser.

What was it with rich people and living every moment of their lives according to rules, anyway?

The first step to being a good kisser, was being confident enough to initiate a kiss, even in front of a huge crowd.

And of course, one would never be confident enough to do that if he didn't possess good breath and what Asher called face charm.

Face charm was simply the ability to lock eyes with the one that would be kissed.

After he said that, I realized staring at me all through dinner was all face charm.
