CHAPTER 37

Olivia

"Ah!" I gasped, when Asher caught me midair, just before my epic fall.

My heart was beating rapidly against my chest as I clung tightly unto the collar of his shirt.

We just stared at each other for a while, our eyes spilling untold emotions. I watched carefully as Asher's eyes darted from my face, to the pool, and then the heels on my feet.

He gently helped me back and the next thing he did, surprised the shit out of me.

After Asher had taken me away from the pool, he swooped me off my feet into his wide comfortable arms. Not for a minute did I ever take my eyes off him.

Subconsciously, I wrapped my arms around his neck, still watching his face.

Asher took me to the bench and carefully dropped me there.

I was too surprised by his sudden appearance before my crash into the pool. I couldn't even stop him when he started to take the shoes off.

"Allow me to do that sir." Gloria offered, snapping out of her own shock and walking over to the bench

"You've done a lot already Gloria.
