Damien was furious,

His entire day was going hurriedly, and he needed an outlet for his anger. It wasn’t just the fact that he had to walk across the clawhold, all the way over to the market square was a travesty in and of itself.

He was a Faen, and a Faen should never have had to mingle with gamma wolves. He was better than that, no, he was better than them. He should never even have to breathe the same air as all these wolves, yet, here he was, mingling around while humans walked close to him.

The only reason he was even here was because his father, the elder, had forced him to buy a gift for his upcoming mating ceremony.

And he hated every single moment of it. Also, another reason why he was so pissed off, was because he also hated his bride.

His lips curled into a smirk as he walked past a butcher’s shop. He spat onto the snow, making sure it was loud enough to reach the ears of the butcher.
