How Whimsical!

Chapter 5

As Bennett probably should've expected. She was beautiful and yet simple.

His eyes didn't leave her face.. neither did he say a word.

Octavia stared at him, the smile not leaving her face.

"Can I come in?" She asked, looking at the door he held out.

He blinked and twisted the knob slowly... And giving way for her to get in.

He didn't know he had been holding his breath for minutes ago... When he finally gave out a defeated sigh.

He knew she had a nice voice, a cute light one that could be the opposite of his.

But he didn't think he would meet something more alluring.

He thought.. she would be one of those Models that would put on some seducing clothes and all. But yet she was in her simple leather Gown, with a small bag pack.

He sighed. How whimsical of Him!

This wasn't him! Talking and appreciating a lady he had just met.

" Good afternoon Mr. Stone." He heard the voice again and snapped back to reality in his office... Where the sunset was breathtaking.

Where one could view the best City view from... Where you could feel the natural breeze clung to your skin as if it had been there all along... Caressing and soothing.

Octavia smiled.

"It's nice here." She mumbled, closing her eyes.

She was a fan of Nature.

"Yes." He answered, and punched the part between his brows.

"Miss Stiles... I guess?" He said.

"It is." She replied too.

He stood up to get a piece of paper, which she concluded might be the contract form.

She kept staring. His Dark hair, his light body, and his dark eyes.

His Dark eyes turned directly and met hers.

Pierced right into her own.

She gulped and looked away.

She turned again and fortunately he was busy searching for the paper in the printer that stood wide at the center of the office.

Time to take the moment to admire the man in front of her.

His dark and olive skin... His eyebrows could make any girl trip. His elegant sharp gaze and his eyes!

Stop it, Octavia... You should never think like this again. She blinked they thought away and puff out her cheeks.

"Here it is." Bennett said as he walked back to her seat.

" I'll show you to the Design Department when you're done with that." He said and gave her the contract with a Bic.

She nodded, as she read the contract slowly, taking in every word listed there.

She sighed, as she signed the paper... And handed it over.

"Is it done now?" She asked, her voice filled with professionalism and something else... Bennett tried to decipher.

Maybe she had been taught how to speak like that since she was little. He thought.

He nodded to her question and stood up.

I'll take you there. He mumbled as he stood up to get his Suit Jacket.

"Your company is amazing and huge." Octavia said as she looked around.

"I try my best." He answered, and she shook her head.

Although she was not expecting an answer.

Must he give that answer filled with pride... as If he was waiting for her to ask.

"Are you the sole owner of Stone's Corporation?" She asked again, cocking her head in his direction.

"Sole Heir." He mumbled as he quicken his footsteps.

"Although I made it stand like it is today". He answered again.

Octavia nodded... Yeah! The same way she did hers.

And some Pagans were still waiting by the corner to get a little or more from her.

Octavia looked around and gasped.

"Don't tell me you also have the Wall Studio." She said as she touched the wall glass that had a small piece of writing on it.

Bennett frowned... was this woman truly a Model?

How could she know things concerning a Huge Corp like this?

"I have done many things, for many companies." Octavia said as she saw his expression.

She never wanted people to recognize her as the Sole Heiress of The Mondragon Empire.

She had changed her name to Octavia Stiles... rather than Octavia Mondragon.

And she liked it.

Even her bio online said nothing concerning her Wealth... and everyone knew her as the Model.. except for some.

But she doubt that anyone would try digging that far to know her to that extent.

"We're here." His deep voice brought her out of her thinking world... as she tried to put herself back together.

She walked into the Department that seem to be filled with designs as its name implies.

She looked around and could see widened eyes staring at her.

"Hi. She waved at everyone. "I am.....

"Octavia Stiles" Someone completed, and she nodded, with a giggle.

Guess there was no need for the introduction.

"They'll get you what you need for the Model job."

"But when you're done, you can come back to my office for the wallpaper." Bennett said as he walked away from the department quickly.

He didn't know why he was walking that quick, but he knew he had to leave that place for no reason In particular.

Octavia smiled at everyone.. as they all smiled back at her.

"Welcome to our Designing Department Ma'am, you're loved." Someone Half yelled... and she laughed.

"Call me Octavia." She said warmly.

Everyone got back to her work, afraid of getting caught talking instead of working.

Octavia took a look at their designs.

She nodded with satisfaction.

They were really good designers. She thought as she kept staring at a design.

"A mother was carrying her child.. running from the war, she could see the fear in her eyes, as if the image was captured Real.

But No, it was pure Design.!!

The design was more like a Gifted work of Art.

"Wow! It's beautiful." She mumbled and took a picture.

She looked at each design... and sighed.

Tch! She had not even started and was getting nervous.

She hissed. She had never been nervous throughout her life as a Model.

Why now? Her eyes momentarily flew to the glass wall just above the small blinds.

Plain writing was on the wall... properly written with a Marker or something.

It Read; "Bennett Stone!"
