Isabella's POV.

I found it hard to believe Declan. I could notice that his gaze on me was slightly unfocused, so it should also be the same thing on the road. Also, his grip on the steering wheel was a little too tight.

“Pull over,” I said.

“What?” Declan asked with a drunk voice.

“I said pull over now” I repeated my words and reluctantly, he slowed the car and parked it by the roadside. I got out, walked around, and opened the door.

“Move” I instructed and he raised his eyebrows.

“What is with you and giving me orders? Are you really_” he was about to speak what I already knew so I interrupted him.

“Yes I will drive” I replied and to my suprise, he obeyed me and we swapped seats. I adjusted the mirrors and started the engine.

“You know how to drive?” he asked.

“It’s a basic life skill” I said, trying to keep my nerves from showing as he leaned his head against the window.

“I think it's time I bought you a car” he said and I chuckled at his words.

    Isabella's POV.I stirred the oatmeal gently, watching it thicken over the gas cooker and Declan walked in with his damp hair which was scattered by the shower.
