Louis was already getting pissed with the entire thing. The man would not take Louis calls but he had the luxury of calling Louis whenever he pleased and getting an answer.

The mayor seemed to be enjoying the entire drama as Louis had never been so dependent on his father since he had moved out of his father's house after refusing to practice law.

Now, it seemed Louis was back under his control. The old man was now involved with his relationship and Louis wasn't even allowed to do anything about the issue on ground.

It was annoying. And Louis felt like he was trapped there all over again - a place where he had to do everything a man he didn't like very much said because he had no choice.
