Daimen's POV

I had almost given up hope.

I had been locked inside the Tiger Beast Clan's dungeon for days, with barely enough food to keep me alive. Every time I heard footsteps outside the cell, I wondered if they had finally come to finish me off.

Then, one evening, the lock clicked.

The door swung open,I immediately pushed myself to my feet, only to find Queen standing there.

“Get up,” she whispered.

I stared at her in confusion before asking,“What are you doing here?”

Isla’s POVI was led to a room and left alone with my thoughts. Lying on the bed, I stared blankly at the ceiling, tossing and turning as sleep continued to elude me. The painful growl of my stomach broke the silence, reminding me that I hadn't eaten in hours. I pressed a hand against my belly, wincing when one of the babies suddenly kicked, as though protesting alongside me.“Easy, little ones,” I whispered, rubbing my belly gently. “Mama's hungry too.”A faint smile touched my lips despite everything. If there was one blessing I could hold on to, it was that Bunny Beast pregnancies rarely showed until the final few months. My belly still looked almost the same, which meant Elvis hadn't discovered my secret and I intended to keep it that way.I couldn't imagine what he would do if he found out I was carrying Alex's children. The thought alone sent a chill down my spine.I'd barely eaten since being brought here. The guards had refused to give me anything, and I suspected Elvis had or

Alex’s POV When we arrived at the hospital, Leon was sitting on the edge of his bed while William carried out one final check on his injuries. The moment he noticed us entering, he went completely still. His eyes moved from me to Daimen, and the guilt on his face was impossible to miss. “Alpha Alex,” he whispered, lowering his head. “I'm sorry. I had no choice.” I studied him in silence, taking in the shame written across his features. He looked like a man who had already accepted the consequences of his actions and was prepared to face whatever punishment awaited him. “I'm ready to die for my decision,” he added quietly. “Then tell me what happened, Leon.” I stepped closer, my voice hardening. “Why did Isla go with them? What made her leave the pack?” Leon swallowed, his fingers tightening around the edge of the bed. “They threatened her,” he replied. “Elvis kidnapped her sister, Lisa, and used her to lure Isla to his territory. He wanted her to surrender herself to him and cu

  • THE CURSED ALPHA'S BUNNY BREEDER    CHAPTER 57; The Lion’s Claim

Isla's pov As they dragged us away, I caught sight of Daimen in the distance. My heart leapt at the sight of him, and for a moment, I wanted to scream his name, but the warriors moved too quickly, and I knew he wouldn't hear me over the noise around us. Still, seeing him gave me a small flicker of hope. If Daimen found out what had happened, he would tell Alex but my thoughts immediately returned to Leon. I knew the Lion Beast warriors wouldn't keep him alive once they realized he had betrayed them. They had used him to get to me, and now that he had failed to deliver me quietly, he was a liability. Despite everything, I couldn't bring myself to hate him. He had betrayed me, yes, but he had been forced into it to protect his mother. He was still a good person who had been pushed into an impossible situation. I had promised him I would help save her and I intended to keep that promise.I just hoped I would get the chance. I knocked one of the Lion Beast warriors off his

Alex's POV I finally found an opportunity to excuse myself from the gathering. I handed the summit over to Liam, pulling him aside before I left to quickly explain what was happening. “Keep an eye on Julian,” I told him quietly. “Don't let him out of your sight.” Liam's expression hardened. He immediately understood the seriousness of the situation,“Consider it done.” I nodded and pulled out my phone, sending Susan a message.Check the kitchen. Then, search every room and corridor around the packhouse. Find Isla. I didn't care if we had to search the entire packhouse. I needed to know where my mate was.Daimen follow me as we hurried away from the hall, both of us scanning the corridors for any sign of her. We had barely made it outside when Daimen suddenly stopped,“Alex.” I turned his eyes fixed on something ahead.A warrior was rushing toward the pack hospital, supporting someone whose clothes were stained with blood. My heart tightened as we got closer, I recognized h

Isla's POV Preparing the pastries for the summit, I couldn't stop the nervous feeling building in my chest. Alex had already told me that he planned to officially introduce me to the Alphas and Lunas of the other packs as his mate. The thought alone made my stomach twist. I knew Vivian wouldn't take it lightly, but lately, she had been unusually quiet. It was almost as if she was fighting a battle of her own, one that had nothing to do with me. For some reason, that worried me more than her usual hostility. Still, I never imagined she would be the least of my problems that evening. “These smell really good,” Leon said, approaching me slowly. I glanced over my shoulder and forced a small smile. “They're my speciality.” His gaze moved over the pastries before settling on me. “You really made all of these?” “Most of them,” I replied, brushing a little flour from my hands. “The others helped with the preparation.” He smiled, but something about his presence made me tense. • THE CURSED ALPHA'S BUNNY BREEDER    CHAPTER 54; ELVIS'S TRAP

Alex’s POV The moment I spotted Julian, I knew something was terribly wrong.I had already sent the Lion Beast Clan a letter rejecting their proposal. There was no reason for Julian to be standing in my hall unless this had been planned from the beginning. My eyes narrowed as I watched him walk toward me with those two warriors behind him. Then I saw Daimen. He was moving quickly through the crowd, his expression tense. The moment he reached me, he leaned closer and lowered his voice,“Isla is missing.”For one terrifying second, I forgot how to breathe. My entire body went cold.“Say that again,” I whispered, afraid I'd heard him wrong.“Isla is missing,” Daimen repeated, his voice barely audible. “We can't find her anywhere.”My gaze immediately shifted toward Julian,He was smiling. Not the polite smile of a guest arriving late to a summit. It was the knowing smile of a man who believed he already had the upper hand.Rage surged through me so violently that Ray growled inside my head.Ma
